So tsukuyomi, I found out a few things about it from some well informed NB posters, the manga and the second data book.
So I'll go through it then I'll ask you to give a reasonable battle craft for how someone can combat a tsukuyomi user who has mastered fully and has intelligence levels as high as Itachi's.
I will go through the list in pros and cons.
Pros
The user can fully control the space and time in the genjutsu realm, logic and common sense does not matter in that mental realm as it is totally under the control of the user (It would have been cool if itachi used this to teach someone a large amount of information very quickly).
The time that the victim believes they're under tsukuyomi can be for years when tsukuyomi is fully mastered.
The full effects of tsukuyomi torture when used by a master would leave a victim paralyzed, in a coma, severely psychologically damaged or all three.
Very little preparation.
Tsukuyomi lasts for a few seconds in the real world despite the fact that it can feel like an eternity in the genjutsu realm for the victim, meaning that it is near impossible to dispel in time without the use of powerful automatic techs to force the user out of eye contact and range, there is also not enough time to disrupt the victims chakra.
Less chakra is required for tsukuyomi to simply knock someone out temporarily as opposed to causing severe psychological damage, meaning tsukuyomi that does not fully deplete the chakra of the user can be used during battle.
Cons
(Not many, but the few can be taken advantage of)
Eye contact is a necessary but not sufficient condition for tsukuyomi, meaning that eye contact + activation of tsukuyomi is required for the victim to fall under it, therefore heightened reaction time is required for tsukuyomi to be used efficiently in a high speed battle against someone who is aware of the conditions.
Tsukuyomi can be fought by elite users of the sharingan without them having tsukuyomi, I believe KA is more powerful than tsukuyomi because of how much more deceptive it is, preventing the victim from fighting against it in anyway.
Using tsukuyomi to the extent that the victim is in a coma "uses amazingly high levels" of chakra (qouted words from data book 2)
forcing the tsukuyomi user to use around half of their chakra, possibly through susanoo defense summoning, should prohibit the use of a critically damaging tsukuyomi, this method can not be used efficiently against someone with rapidly replenishing chakra (edo).
Tsukuyomi not used to it's fullest capacity may not be enough to knock the victim out if they have a high pain threshold.
tsukuyomi can not be used efficiently unless the user knows which form of torture will be effective.
SO!!?
How do you fight a tsukuyomi master? Btw I am open to making alterations if my information is completely incorrect.
