This thread and all the other's like it make me wish that the Manga writer. Not sure what his name is I am sorry for those of you who do I don't totally pay attention to that. Would just do a blast into the past and show us that fight between Madara and Hashi. Since people here are trying to compare Nagato in his human form vs Madara in his Edo Tensei form which he is fused with Hashi and has limitless chakara where Nagato had limit's to his.

Also, he didn't lead Akatsuki, Tobi did. He mastered 5 elements due to the Rinnegan, otherwise that would be nearly impossible. Yahiko would've been the one to take over the Rain had he not died, Hanzo was clearly losing his touch.

Sorry, but without Madara having the EMS, or Hashirama having Mokuton, they would be less than nothing as well. It's not that somebody posesses something, its what they DO WITH IT. Tobi didn't lead the Akatsuki while Nagato was alive, he simply hid in his shadow and waited for him to gather the tailed beasts, at which point he would have likely tried to stab him in the back and fail at doing so.

You may like it or not, but Tobi obviously gave an order to Nagato. He even made it clear to him that "as a leader he will not accept failure". So your point of argument here is somehow flawed. One question though, as a fan, was it really that hard to accept?

Anyways on topic, Nagato was really meant to be more haxxed than Hashi & Madara if you are talking about raw power alone. But in my opinion, talking about other factors like their intelligence, battle experiences, and abilities which could also consider huge factor in a fight, I don't think Nagato still has the upper hand as compared to those two. I based this assumption from the hypes, praises & respects that Hashirama & Madara recieved from other shinobi's around the narutoverse. But then again I could be wrong, my opinion anyway, not much of a big deal.

As I've read comments from this thread, I really can say that Nagato was the favorite and according to the majority Nagato will own Hasirama or Ems-Madara should they face in a fight. As much as I love Nagato, I don't really think he could be declared as a 100% winner should this scenario happened in the manga.

Some of Hashirama's amazing feats as stated by Madara himself, is he can rewrite the map, use it as his advantage & can heal himself without using any form of hand seals. Furthermore, according to Tobi, Hashi has the abilty to manipulate bijiu's and control them as it is his pets. So, if your giving Pain all the advantages assuming Hashi will face a healthy Nagato, then it will be fair enough to let Hashi have the bijiu's within him since this is part of his abilities as well. Should the fight be like this, I wonder how Nagato along with his powerful techniques evade / deflect 7 bijiudama thrown at him one at a time or at the same time.

My conclusion, Hashirama > Nagato (edo or not) > or = Ems-Madara..

And Nagato has had his Rinnegan for 20+ years. I'm certain he's figured out how to use it to its full extent. What people forget is that although powerful individually, the Paths when used together are even more haxxed.

You people greatly underestimate the Nagato vs Konoha fight. Lets look at some facts. 1 man controlling 6 paths and a bunch of summons simultaneously. Thats like playing several chess games at the same time. Controlling and moving each piece to negate, fight, counter, everything. Thats not just a show of ALOT of chakra but more a show of pure brilliance.
All you haters just do us a favor and rewatch the fight and keep in mind that it was all happening at the same time, every fight and that it was all being controlled by a crippled sickly ninja who was quite a distance away from konoha itself. Sure he lost inn the end due to plot no jutsu but think of our expectations when we first heard one man was taking on a whole village, and not controlling a bijuu, and hiding behind its powers to do so like the scaredy cat sharingan users

So many favorites like Kakashi and the shika ino cho parent trio, konoha 11, all the strong jounins were made to look weak against just a fraction of his power. Sage Naruto only entered the fight when nagato was clearly already weakened plenty from all the fighting. And using pein still managed to fight off kyuubi all the way to 7 almost 8 tails. 4 tails could already seriously hurt Orochimaru. Just saying.

Well pain was stronger then him so it doesnt really matter to me that much.He was manipulating him for his own purpose if Pain was truly under the orders of Tobi he would of been collecting the Bjuu for Tobi when in fact he was doing for himself

Nagato formed a plan to destroy Konoha and seemed to have good knowledge of how things work in the world.He clearly showed he was a strategist personally combat intelligence wise hes quite adept

Its your opinion though its just everything Madara and Hashirama has can e absorbed by preta and getting close to Nagato would basically be impossible with Shinra Tensei not to mention Asura path armour

Nagato was just an insecure kid who had the most craved ability in the world but didn't know how to use it wisely. If he did he wouldn't have taken orders from tobi and he couldve become the most powerful but the fact is nagato was just a fodder, a tool used by tobi, just a stepping stone for others(like tobi) to gain op abilities. He was never meant or designed to be anything of hashi or madara's character. The guy doesn't even qualify to be a major villain. His screentime lasted only 44 episodes and i see nagato>edo/ems madara but look at how easily he lost the battle with itachi/naruto/bee. He didnt even last 15mins in that battle whilst madara is there OWNING THE FIVE KAGE. Nagato is a failure of an experiment. He had the most powerful doujutsu and mastered all 5 elements but look at what guys like hashi, onoki, madara, tobi,naruto,raikage, itachi,tobirama, minato, hiruzen,oro, etc. have been able to achieve with not more than 2 or 3 elements and lesser or no doujutsu. He is a FAILURE!!. Power with no brains= waste tool.Even ramen guy would have done better with the rinnegan than nagato.
