Why do people compare nagato and other shinobi to Legends like Madara and Hashirama?

I thought it was common sense that those two will remain the strongest two in the manga.... not only that but those two lived a real life of terror and war. War was everyday, they skill set should be in imaginable. Their power itself is unimaginable... Madara has reningan, Hashi is a f*cking beast...

People.... no, don't compare those two to any shinoby right now. We still don't even know what these two are fully capable of, even after all madara has displayed we still don't know what he is fully capable of... sigh... U_U

Btw I'm talking bout reningan madara, not with Mukton.

Edit: Many people have helped me come to this conclusion with very good factual arguments that are backed up with the manga....

My conclusion is that nagato was the only person who is capable of fighting Hadhirama and Madara (EMS) while having the ability to win them both and or at least being good enough were, if its 1v1 it can go either way..

We still do not know what hashirama is fully capable of.....Their is a reason why madara still fears hashirama even while he has reningan. we don't know why..

But my opinion has been changed about nagato.. I like him more

nagato cant defeat either.... in any situation.... if hashirama was on the verge of death, and nagato was standing over him, he would still heal himself while killing nagato at the same time... if madara was on the verge of death and nagato was standing in front of him, he would still kill nagato with a quick genjutsu finishing move, or use susanoo... people see a cool ability (rennigan) and automatically think that it is unbeatable, when it is still welded by a mortal, and they can still die just as easily as if they didnt have it... it happened when they saw the curse mark, it happend when they saw kyubi mode, it happened when they saw sage mode, it happened when they saw ms, and it will continue to happen to the easily impressed...
