LOL its called using ur brain. U would go into a fight and make a strategy on winning and he just happened to save bee and narutos life but u just forgot to mention that. If he went in at the start he would of most likely get killed and that would of been useless

It would be useless but it doesnt change the fact that he is a coward afraid to face power head on

But he always says he protects peace from the shadows

Cowards dont join fights because they are scared of power

you dont get the point. If itachi was involved in fight then Nagato could have easily attacked him & then Naruto & bee have to save itachi. So itachi Involving in that fight could have only cost Naruto & bee some damage. Plus itachi needed to stop Kabuto's jutsu.

I fail to see how Itachi's a coward. He stayed back and didn't fight because he was devising a strategy to take down Nagato. Thanks to his strategy they DID take him down. If it wasn't for Itachi, Bee and Naruto would have lost that fight. I'm not a fan boy I just can't stand morons. He wasn't being a coward he was being smart.

True he does possess those qualities but coward should be first a coward isn't someone whose afraid to fight ... its someone who chooses the easy way out

Yeah Itachi is smart he knew he couldnt take Nagato head on thats why he used Kunai and didnt fight him directly he must have crapped himself when Nagato got up from the Amateseru

While Naruto and Killer Bee were busy fight nagato for about 5 pages to 6 pages of action itachi was nowhere to be scene let naruto and bee face the frighten power of the rinnegan on their own while he watch figuring out a strategy , he gains on points for that move

If he was fight with nagato 1 v 1 it would have been completely different not to mention nagato was being controlled .
