This week episode i must say is BAD ASS

Laxus pretty much destroyed raven tail... (didnt think it was gonna happen truthfully)

Master Mavis seems BOILING HOT

Ivan talking about lumni or something like that (I think thats the thing the master showed Lacus) and to top it all off

Wendy is about to fight somebody thats just like her. and we all know how strong wendy is.. im thinkn the girl a dragon slayer

i am really dissapointed in this chapter raven tail is so freaking weak how could they loose they didn´t even were a match and ivan is so weak this was trolling and can someone tell me what ivan shot at laxus what was this magic?

i actually didnt like Laxus after the 7yr skip. cause them clothes made him look gay. U_U he looked more bad ass before. but then he showed the monster inside of him. i was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I like what they did, and i even told Toshiro on msn last week that laxus would kick their ass xd

That guild has served it's purpose, so it doesn't bother me that they got their ass kicked, just give laxus a time to shine xd

But quite shocked about that dark magic now that the girl is fighting wendy O_O

Also wanna know fairy tails dark secret, but i still think it's what master showed gildarts under the old guild hall

Incredibly lame

Fairy Tail as a manga was looking pretty good and it looked as if it was going to compete with the manga top 3. This chapter proved to me once again that thanks to the thin storyline, the huge amount of fanservice and the ass pull upgrades it doesn't deserve to be there.

this is what I said last week about this chapter on a different forum:

Would be incredibly cheap if Laxus wins this. Right after the chapter where Erza took out all 100 monsters and Cana got an ancient guild spell for free again.


If Laxus pulls a Natsu than what would be the point of the whole Lumen thing ? Ivan is coming after it so what will happen if it appears that Laxus is enough to beat the top 5 of Raven Tail. They would form no threat for FT. So I think they will tell Laxus something shocking or make something clear to him. He will lose motivation but he manages to land a punch on Ivan or something which will shock RT.
Depends on something like that if Ivan would ley Laxus win or lose the fight.


That is my main concern with fairy tail, it has no bigger story besides some of the huge plot lines like the dragons and dark guilds/Ivan. If you compare it to One piece, Naruto and even Bleach then those stories have lots of other stuff going on while in FT everything is more or less started and finished within the arc. The lumen histoire, we never heard a word about it. Now very conveniently it was introduced to us in the beginning of this arc.


Ultears ark of time can't be used on living things, but she could enhance the magic power of everyone right before the tournament.


If Hiro doesn't write himself in a corner with those troll chapters like visits to the summon realm then he could've given them 30 days of training, that would be more convincing. We never seen Natsu train a single day in his life. He should be the same guy who had trouble fighting that "Kage" dude at the beginning of the series but now he is eating lacrima, golden flames, god flames, thunder and everything that comes in his path to win every fight he gets into.


I'm a bit done with the thin story line, 4 pages of fan service every chapter and FT winning every fight. There is a difference between a plot twist and an ass pull. The lumen histoire, just like the 13th key btw are an ass pull. It would've been more convincing if it was introduced to us earlier in the story.


Now it was like Oh Gildartz now you're master I've got to tell you this, *walk down the stairs* TADAA!, Gildarts seen it and that was it, and quit the job. It's not the best introduction ever.


So if Laxus "magically" beats every single one of RT then I think I might be done with FT.

Not only did Laxus win, he won of the specialized anti fairy tail guild. Well great job finding out their weaknesses Ivan. You couldn't even beat one with 7 years of preperations. Not only did Laxus win, he won without breaking a sweat.

How can Hiro ever turn this into a believable story again, he fell for the classic "Dragon ball Z trap" The power levels are off the scale.

Laxus destroyed one of the strongest guilds single handedly
Cana is 33% stronger then one of the 10 wizard saints
Erza beat 100 monsters of which one was equal to one of the wizard saints as well

All this happened in the past 3-4 chapters, it's incredibly over the top.

I jizzed. Laxus was epic, didn't except less from him, however... about the thing that Ivan told him about Fairy tail their true colors? I thought it was extremely suspicious but after seeing Mavis looking shocked/evil I began wondering how Fairy tail really is, I'm very curious about their secrets.

However, Damn, I was shocked after seeing Ultear and Meredy saying 'Zeref', I'm wondering if her hair is black, if it is, then it's obviously family, of he put a spell on her or gave her his powers, I don't know but damn I'm curious xd.

I like this chapter. and btw why the cry about power ups? you could see this in Naruto too. also there was a timeskip where they trained, so it was quite obvious they will be stronger.

That was awesome Laxus is a beast. I thought that he would start dominating then eventually they would overwhelmed him. But no he just crush's them all.

I was hoping that Natsu would fight this round but I'm betting his fight will be the last fight in the tournament & in the middle of it Zeref will make his move.

That would be nice if this was a sports match but it doesn't work like that when you're building up a story.

What was up with all the suspense around Ivan and the dark shots/cliffhangers at the end of some mysterious chapters. Gajeel risking his life to spy on them.

He had all this build up and he was trashed like fodder along with the rest. He also said that he was looking for Lumen Histoire for the past 7 years. Well great job he did there, it was in the basement of the old guild building, judging from the doors to Lumen Histoire it's pretty big so how could he have missed that. Raven Tail had a lot of potential but this really is a let down.

If you would take your time to read what I said maybe you wouldn't have said that. There is nothing wrong with power ups as long as it's explained and in proportion. Natsu eat Lacrima, god flames, golden flames and thunder which he shouldn't even be able to eat. On top of that he was somehow able to keep the thunder and add it to his own flames.

They didn't train for 7 years, they were in coma. Then Hiro trolled us by taking away their two months of training time. Then some ass pull which allowed Urtear to unlock an ability which her ark of time which shouldn't work on living things.

The story is as as Kate Moss in ethiopia, even in Naruto they sometimes show a training or explain why he got stronger.

It might be BADASS and cool and epic and awesome that Laxus is the star now, but how could he ever lose again without making it look rediculous.

This what I think. The real arc hasn't even started yet this tournament is just the appetizer. & the reason why they are showing FT being so powerful is for when Zeref shows up they won't even be a match for him. Because as strong as Laxus/Erza are there not even going to be close to Zeref.

For one thing Natsu won't defeat Zeref this soon I agree that eventually he will but that's no different then any other Shonen Hero. Just like Luffy he will beat Blackbeard. Just like Naruto he will beat Tobi you know it will happen eventually. So I don't think you can fault Fairy Tail for that.

& another thing is I believe Raven Tail was only a distraction & I don't think there as strong as they appear because who knows how many times they used that illusion spell to win. I could be wrong because at the end that gremlin looking thing is up to something.

& I think your really underestimating Laxus I don't think there is much difference in power between him & Gildarts. & the thing that set him over the top is the same theme in most Shonen Manga fighting for your family/friend/Nakama.

I wanted Laxus to win since it's people like him who get the short end of the stick whist Natsu's team takes the glory, but I didn't expect Raven Tail to get fodderised, I can understand Flare but even Ivan, smh. The least Laxus could have done was come out looking like Erza after the 100 monsters.

It looks like that Shelia girl is somehow related to Zeref, i'm not expecting a good fight the way the tournaments been but i'm hoping the spells Wendy learnt wont be a disappointment.

I doubt that as she has a sister who is not a Dragon Slayer, unless there was some dramatic events in their past that they got separated for years and just recently found each other, her profile does not fit the one for a Dragon Slayer.

Lumen étole/histoire and Makarov showed it to Gildartz, not Laxus.

So Obra has a special role to fulfill, similar situation like with Ultear back in the the day xd
