lol it doesn't work on rennigan? perharps you have forgotten that nagato did not have a sharingan to begin with, only a sharingan user (not a rennigan user) and an Uchiha can dispel tsukyomi.

But seeing how the rennigan is the upgrade it doesnt really matter, either way its the stronger version an theres nothing proving it cant.

Itachi can still lose focus because he's being attacked by 8 summons an wwe both know he would. Nagato knows itachi's fighting style well an most likely wouldnt get caught with something so simple. Itachi doesnt really know anything about nagato, no one in there group besides tobi an kohan have even seen him before the edo. Itachi cant win

It's not what i think it is what has been shown in the manga, Even madara cannot use sharingan techs while he has rennigan active he has to switch them. Therefore they are different.
Nagato never had sharingan, he only has rennigan (a requirement to break tsukyomi)
He is not an Uchiha (also a requirement)

Danzo fell for a dojutsu, Kakashi too, Sasuke, Deidra, Bee, A etc etc etc
Itachi doesn't have to keep anyone under it. An Instant is all it takes.

Itachi used Tsukuyomi, Amaretsu, and Susanoo all in the same fight. He used 2 Tsukuyomi and Amaretsu in the same day. It can be argued that Itachi died because he wanted to die, not because he ran out of chakra. In fact Tobi says that's why and Itachi would have killed Sasuke if Itachi wanted to. As fast as Itachi was in the Sasuke fight, Zetsu says Itachi is normally much faster.

My first post was enough to crush all the arguments that Nagato could beat Itachi or Tsukuyomi. Peace I'm out

In the Itachi vs Nagato threads I've seen to many fanboys mistakenly claim that Itachi could one shot Nagato with Tsukuyomi. The reasons why this would fail is because

Nagato is a sensor ninja: It has been noted that sensor ninja have the ability to sense changes in ones chakra and the chakra around them. This would alert him to being in genjustu and he could disrupt his chakra and break it.

The Rinnegan is an evolved sharigan: it is well known that the sharigan evolves into the rinnegan with the right conditions. If a normal 3 tomoe sharigan can break "the all powerful" Tsukuyomi then the rinnegan can as well. The rinnegan has shown to counter all other MS techniques so Tsukuyomi is no problem.

So with this it is clear that Nagato>>>Itachi, and itachi stands no chance U_U

while i myself prefer nagato to itachi, i still say his particular genjutsu could wreak havoc on nagato in the proper instance. You know who else is supposed to be totally immune to genjutsu? jinchuriki, since the tailed beast or the host (whichever is not actively fighting) wouldnt see the eye to be influenced. Sasuke got killer bee in genjutsu for a mere 2 or 3 seconds, however itachi has been known to turn real time 2 seconds into any length of time he chooses within the victims mind. Even if nagato senses it, if it lasts for half a second its long enough for itahi to minipulate the relative time in nagatos head and do god knows what to him. I doubt the whole ordeal would happen since nagato should know of the tech and wont fall for it, nor was itachi all that willing to use it against him when they were fighting, but if itachi did attempt and nagato looked him in the eye, he would probably have him.

Nagato would crush everyone you just named an kakashi got caught with it once in part one when he was weaker, the second time itachi couldnt get em. So dont bring dont bring kakashi in it cause like he said he wont get caught with the same jutsu twice. So maybe you should come back an try again cause itachi for sure beating nagato makes no since at all.

Say itachi, but him an alot of people in naruto have said alot of things that turned out to be false. Just like at one point gaara's defence was on breakable an nothing can get through it smh dont waste your time believing everything a ninja says in the show cause sooner or later it ends up being wrong :shrug:

lol it has been proved even by itachi himself, he used it on kakashi who has a sharingan and thought he would withstand it but failed because he was not an Uchiha. Same thing would happen to Nagato.
