It means somewhere along the line the sons of the elder son got the sharingan doujutsu through constant mutation and that doujutsu started getting passed on and uchiha clan came to be found.
What's to deny that hyuuga had the same beginnings?

The connection between senju and uzumaki was proven by just one panel so threads like this are not wise

It's possible that the uchiha clan had both byakugan and sharingan and split into two separate clans to distinguish those with different eyes somewhat similar to the main and side branch in the hyuuga clan

Usually I'd prefer Byakugan being seperate from rennigan and sharingan, but seeing as all three have the ability to see chakra, it wouldn't suprise me if Kishimoto decided they were all related somehow.

where does it say in the manga hyuga can read the tablet. look i really big fan of the uchiha and hyuga pretty much all the power with eyes but i thinkin were not going to see much of hyuga mk dont care about them this my thinkin though i am also thinkin neji and hinata are going to die soon in the war. i think there going to be fight between hyuga and uchiha sasuke in the war sasuke after meeting the one that knows every thing will discover he needs all eye power for somethingin then he will kill hinata and neji to get the hyuga clan secert.
