Can Itachi defeat Konoha like Nagato?

I don't think I am exaggerating on that point. Many members don't like him because he is rude, unintelligent, and also just belligerent.

As you can see above, despite him making the mistake he tries to blame me, as if I misread his post and insulted him first. He does this often, and so most of the people of worth on the base ignore him. I usually do, until he tries to quote me and says idiotic things.

P.S. narutoownsyouall, even though you have already proven you are not worth my time, perhaps you should go back and read my post. You would see that the person I was quoting was the one who stated that Nagato was greater than Itachi, and I just said that it depended on the circumstances.

Well Itachi wouldnt fight the whole village at once because it would be dumb and he doesnt have these mass destruction jutsus ( like shinra tensei, chibaku tensei or the weird gigantic beasts nagato could summon )

He would rather infiltrate the Village like he did it with the Uchiha Clan... taking out 1 after the other without beeing noticed! Cause hes extremely strong in 1vs1 and can take somone out in seconds thx 2 his genutsus
Also in that time naruto was weak against Genjutsu... So itachi might would have set him under genjustu and then kidnap him instead of fighting him in the village ...

Clearly I did not read the post before but you are in a thread with the topic being about Itachi taking on Kanoha, I thought you were trying to say something and read it out of context although you did switch to a Nagato vs. Itachi layout which was why I said you were trolling because any Rinnegan user > A Sharingan user (in my opinion).

I value people on what they contribute. In all my interactions with you, you leap to insult/flame for no reason. Had I been trolling or even been rude to someone then I could understand your reaction, but I was just responding to someone else in what I felt was a very reasonably manner.

I don't judge people here on their rep bars, or their avatars, or even their usernames. I judge them on how they interact with the other members, as believe it or not Narutobase is a microcosm of the real world, and how we act on here is likely how we act in the real world. So when I say people of worth, I mean people who won't try and belittle someone for just saying something in a non-confrontational way. People who actually listen to what the other person says.

I don't think that he can take out the entire village in one night by himself, but there is a way that he could do it secretly over time. Remember when the white Zetsus were copying people and infiltrating the joint ninja army? Everyone thought that it was genjutsu.

Itachi could use genjutsu on a few people, and over time build up a small force that could go around and try to assassinate people in their sleep.

Remember he did take out the entire Uchiha clan in one night, which was the strongest clan in Konoha, and that was when he was 13.

It is unlikely he would take out the top people by a surprise assassination attempt, due to guards, etc. but if he has Kisame and Konoha ninjas under genjutsu, it would be easier to fight a regular battle once most of the people have been killed in their sleep.

I think he can give tough time to konoha because if he has full helth then he can use sosano and amatesra very effectively at the same time just suske use it against rikage but in the end the destruction made by nagato he will fail in it

if Itachi did it Tactical and silent and with the help of Kisame he could probably pull this off. Itachis Mastery in Kunais and Shurikens is at a extremely high level he would easily blitz the jonin without wasting any chakra. Then Itachi would defeat Kakashi and Choji and then he will help Kisame to beat Guy and the others then they will go after Tsunade and beat her.

Itachi can not destroy Konoha like Nagato whether he use genjutsu or amaterasu or whatever.

Nagato has jutsus that can cause great long ranged damage. Itachi doesn;t have something like this plus he is low on chakra comparing to Nagato. So it is out of question.
