Yeah, when bansho tenin is used on you, you won't be able to move a muscle. So he can just stab him in the head....

anything else?
Yeah that's why Kakashi threw a ball and chain to stop himself right? Onoki can harden his fist. He doesn't even have to move. Deva is screwed.
I can argue to that. Kakashi just use the momentum to reach his pocket and swing chain slightly to the back.
It might also be that bansho tenin has scale level too. When nagato used it against km Naruto, naruto wasn't able to punch or even move a muscle, he used chakra arms which is not requires a body movement. And we know that km naruto prowess >>> kakashi
Lol wut, this is literally just straight denial at this point.

I'm not completely against this argument, but I will say that the force of the attraction itself DOES affect the targets ability to react, I dissagree that Basho only targets a certain area of the body, It clearly is focused on a prticular target, but i dont think its as specific as to attract "a torso". Imagine the takeoff of a space shuttle, or one of thoes Gforce astronaut training machines with the rotating capsule that you sit in, when your body is being moved with such force as that, it makes it harder and harder to move ANY part of your body, as for defending with the stone fist/golem/any kind of stone shield, IMO it would result in Oonoki being violently pressed against his own shield. Still a defense for it, just not the best
I'm basically in agreement with everything you said. Of course, it's obvious that the attractive force is heavily restricting movement, but it's not entirely disabling it. However, I stil think that only a specific part of the body gets attracted. Just like Tendo pulled out a small nail with Bansho Ten'in. If Tendo would've attracted Kakashi's entire body, Shurado's arms should've been attracted as well.

You're right, it's not the best defense against it, but it is a defense. That does not go for the stone fist or the golem that grows out of one's mouth, though. Those two techniques can be used to directly attack Tendo during Bansho Ten'in. Even though the latter wasn't used by Oonoki in that form, he should be able to use it, since he was capable of using a way bigger and more advanced versions of the technique.

If Deva won't throw a huge rock in Oonokis direction.
Of course. Assuming Tendo makes it in time. But considering how Oonoki stopped that huge meteorite, I guess lightening a smaller rock before being totally curshed is definitely possible.

This is a good matchup. Oonoki's jinton can end chibaku tensei. However, if he tries using it on Deva, he'll just pull a rock into him to knock his aim off, like he did with cloaked Naruto to divert a biju bomb. Deva's shinra tensei would only be effective if it smashed Oonoki into the ground, but Oonoki can fly to get around that; probably faster than Deva's propelled jump to stay above him.

I'm not sure which side to believe in the bansho tenin argument, but it does seem the chest is pulled out and the arms are backward, at least near to Deva, so I doubt Oonoki could punch with a rock fist or make hand seals to do anything else. He also has a bad back, and the way it would be compressed during a bansho tenin pull would likely aggravate it, ending Oonoki's chances.

I'd probably give this to Oonoki 6/10... if Deva starts with bansho tenin he'd win imo. If he shinra tenseid Oonoki would start flying and then Deva wouldn't have enough time to recharge to knock Oonoki's jinton aim off with a rock if that would be possible when he's up in the air. So this battle depends on what Deva starts with.

All sounds solid to me. Just a thought on the topic of what basho ten'in targets, kakashi's chain wasnt affected by the gravitational pull when he threw it, even being in such close proximity to kakashi's body, so maybe you are right and it may even target a pinpoint area that pain simply aims at the center of your body (torso) idk lool

LMAO! You really can't argue.
what's the point of hardening your fist if you can't even punch?

@Flori :

KM Naruto can't move muscle

How can you lighten the rock when you unable to move

When kakashi is pulled, he simply reach his back pocket. You can see that no matter how hard you can hang on to you will still get pulled
- Thats point 1 = Bansho tenin have scale

@the last panel you can also see that kakashi is moving forward fast and can't move his muscle (the stronger the attraction the faster it is) meaning dodging it is hardly impposible.

And this fight is about oonoki vs deva path, oonoki doesn't have chain like kakashi so how can he hang on to (even though the chain will only slow down his death)

Yeah and that's like saying without Rinnegan, Madara would have lost to the FRS Naruto threw. Rinnegan wasn't his noly option. Naruto happened to react, and Kakashi pulled a chain out of his pocket and threw it in the other direction, what is this about Onoki beign able to harden himsel and smash Deva in the face? He doesn't even have to move

OMG, you clearly doesn't know what you are talking about. Do you know about chakra disruption blade. The blade was able to break in sm naruto skin which is hard. One stab and you won't be able to move nor use chakra. And dont say the blade will break cause it only shows me that you know nothing

Yes, easy. People use its outliers all the time but most people tank it on a regular basis. Naruto's clones withstood the blas tand Hinata was hit(twice iirc?) and didn't die.

Uhh actually, it ..

It only pierced his skin when Naruto let himself get stabbed so he could trace it back to Nagato.

Onoki just makes rock fist and punces Deva in the face or a giant rock golem smashes him or similar. He can't really do much, and
