Like I said before the rinnegan takes stamina that the Uchihas lack to utilize it. Can you honestly look me in the eye and tell me that an ave Uchiha has the stamina to use the rinnegan like Nagato did.

I always thought it was its own independent doujutusu. The rinnengan isn't a stage of sharingan like MS it's the evolution, like sharingan is to byakugan.

It could be possible for someone on the senju side to unlock rinnengan. Since rinnengan users are referred to as the so6p like Nagato was the 3rd, meaning a combination of what both sons. Also Madara did have both Uchiha and Senju dna when he unlocked rinnengan.

At least that's my theory on it. God forbid a non uchiha being able to unlock rinnengan.

Anyhow the rinnegan being a stage of the sharingan is just a hypethesis of Kabuto, the rinnegan has senju like charatristics like utlizing powerful life force tech and requiring large amounts of stamina. Also the so6p might not have had the sharingan.

uchiha have powerful chakara of their own senju dont they just have a large amount the uchiha have chakara that is potent which means it requires less to use powerful moves senju just have so much chakara that using powerful techniques doesnt really effect the due to their stamina but uchiha can use very powerful techniques as well why do you think their rivals ?

it is also possible to have rinnegan without having sharingan prior. why?
because so6p got it and he didnt have sharingan before. it is most likely that he always had it.
the sharingan is a devolution. the blood got thinner and the rinnegan got weaker and developed into something else. i personally think the chakra of the juubi had his influence on the sharingan.

Actually Kishi hasn't been clear with the actual requirements to unlock rinnengan all we know is Madara was able to unlock it shortly before his death. We know he had Ems but at that time he also had Hashirama's dna. So it doesn't rule out the possibilty that the combination of Senju and Uchiha dna could lead to rinnengan.

I mean time and time again we see posts claiming that Madara gave Nagato the rinnegan however you people do realize that it came from the mouth of a liar, who lied about being Madara and being involved in the attack on Konoha when Naruto was born. And I understand Tobi may have given Nagato the rinnegan but please people do not jump to conclusions so fast, who knows Madara might have known Nagato by some other means.

I think when nagato was a kid Madara/tobi searched for Nagato as he was an Uzumaki so he would be best to implant, depending on him to ressurrect him
then as Nagato blacked out Madara killed those two shinobi who killed nagato's mother and father

I don't think he awakened the Rinnegan, but I was starting to think the same thing whenever Tobi first said that because he is a liar.

The reason I don't think it was awakened because in the manga it didn't show us his eyes first. Jiraiya was shocked when he saw the eyes, but Konan and Yahiko weren't shocked from what we know.

Not to mention when he died his eyes were still opened, with the Rinnegan activated. I'm not sure if it would deactivate after dying, but I would figure it would because when someone is dead they can't use chakra, so the Rinnegan shouldn't have been activated. Not sure if eyes just stay open a doujutsu is activated, but that's what I think.

Oh: And maybe Nagato can't use the Sharingan abilities because his eyes were transplanted? If they were transplanted maybe they just can't go back to Sharingan?
