How do you know they aren't strong enough to break the core lol. The pain he was fighting was the summoner wasn't it? He has to run for his life against the summons before he could get close to it lol. He would have to get close range to use it against it and he also had to fight the preta path who can absorb chakra. Besides I think his big ball rasengan would be plenty strong to destroy the core it also noted to use the gravitational force from the chibaku tensei as well. Couple that with the power from a big ball rasengan and he should be able to destroy the core.
P.S. jiraiya didn't get a 5 in the databook for ninjutsu for nothing lol.

I dont believe a normal shinra tensei will destroy it, if anything because the technique is made of meat and its very durable it will most likely just bounce off the meat.
Ill give you the benefit of the doubt and say the ultimate shinra tensei will destroy it, but so what. This is what happens to deva path when he uses that technique;

If he didnt have his other paths there to stall for him he wouldve been fodderized by naruto. Once he uses that shinra tensei his powers take very long to renegerate and he isnt living with jiraiya until his powers come back to him.

I'm not sure if you're actually serious here. Post proof please of a gigantic toads chakra being the same affected as a small human shinobi. Naruto and Jiraiya=/=a gigantic toad last I checked. But yeah while he does that he's shrunk in a 50 meter swamp.

Naruto wiki is reliable and very accurate. Who or what I quoted is irrelevant the point is jiraiya isn't dumb and has a 4.5 in itelligence in the databook so he's more sharp than you think.
