Other then the legs (and size), this "fixation" process, or the stabilization of the chakra, is the only difference in Madara's and Sasuke's Susanoo. Sasuke's can also perform/utilize jutsu, shown by it firing Amaterasu disks (
Madara's Susanoo before "fixation:"
Sasuke's Susanoo before "fixation:"
Notice how both Madara's pre-fixation Susanoo and Sasuke's current Susanoo bear many resemblances. All of their arms have the weird, flaky flesh/armor to them. Both also have similar hoods/helmets covering their faces. And lastly, both have chakra floating up and seemingly evaporating around them. In general, they both look more demonic and incomplete, not like a humanoid presence.

Now look at Madara's Susanoo after its chakra has stabilized (fixation):
As shown, there is no "stray" chakra, and the Susanoo's flesh/armor, helmet/head, and overall shape in general are a lot of more definite. So no, in my opinion, Madara's Rinnegan and Senju DNA have nothing to do with his Susanoo being different from the others; he's just mastered the EMS completely. IMO its size and legs just represent his better mastery and higher chakra pool, but the stabilized form can be achieved by Sasuke too, once he can completely control his Susanoo's chakra. I don't know whether Itachi can achieve the same thing, though.

On another note: What do you guys think Sasuke's perfect, fixated Susanoo will look like? And do you think it will be able to rival Naruto's Bijuu Mode?
