Naruto definitly is smart, definitly is on par with Shikamaru, Minato and Itachi, I mean I bet Naruto wanted to tell Killer B and Itachi to stay calm and that he figured out a way to stop Chibaku Tensei but unfortunally Itachi just interrupted Naruto. Naruto also figured out how to stop the Edo Jinchurikis, it definitly wasn't Son Goku telling him or anything like that.
