totally agree with you!

That fight in itself didn't make any sense. Especially when it came to Hashirama the apparent second to the SO6P. Ororchimaru in himself was trying to become more complete the whole time and had his cells. He was probably testing both Hashirama and Tobirama to see what they were capable of. Because the legends they speak of are not spoken in that fight.

Hiruzen in himself was a powerful shinobi, he in himself was trained by Tobirama to become the powerful man he was, but I don't see how that accounts to that fight. anyways I see people putting +rep

This means that hiruzen is better in knowledge and can be a better hokage. Just like kakashi will be a better hokage than naruto because of his knowledge and he is a genius.
But hashirama is just more powerful. If hiruzen and hashirama meet the same opponent without knowledge about the ninja, hashirama will win more times than hiruzen will win.
Sometimes, raw power is stronger than knowledge or genius.

As i said knowledge is power. If both had no knowledge on each others abilities then ill side by hahsirama beating hiruzen. But because hiruzen knows of his abilities well, he would beat hashirama majority of the times. Now when i say knowledge is power dont take it too literally and say if shikamaru had a year of prep time he could beat nagato because that is not what i mean.

What i mean by knowledge is power is that if two shinobi's roughly equal in power (although hasirama is stronger in terms of raw power) were to face off, the ninja who has the extra advantage in terms of knowledge of his opponents abilities will most likely win the fight

@BOLD: You just said you believe Hashi is stronger than Hiruzen, but that Hiruzen would win because he is a bad match up for Hashi due to knowlegde on Hashi, and that that makes Hiruzen stronger than Hashi.

So do you also think Gai is stronger than Kisame?

Bad match up somewhat in the sense of him being his teacher.
Gai and kisame's case is similar but at the same time different. In this case the bad match up isnt knowledge on the opponents abilities but rather fighting style. Gai being a taijutsu user which doesnt need chakra is a bad match up for somebody like kisame who's main abilities is absorbing his opponents chakra/techniques

Exactly, despite old age hindering him, he was severely underestimated during the battle. Oro himself said he wanted to have fun and see the battered face of hiruzen. He could've killed hiruzen earlier in the fight if he wanted to.(he had 2 chances namely:1.during the bringer of darkness jutsu.
2.when he was trapped in hashi trees.

all hokages are best in my opinion but hashi is a bit greater because he defeated madara.but i like minato and hiruzen than hashi.

If hashi can really control kurama why is he so messed up in the pic? Did he sic kurama on himself?
My explanation: It was just after madara's fight and he was declaring to a supressed kurama that he will be sealed away for good.

Also, if madara was smart (which he is) he wld at least know hashi's powers (Theirs clans fought b4) and wld know hashi can take kurama's control away from him. So why the hell did he bring kurama with him? Surely not to have hashi use kurama against him? (It means MS has greater control over kurama, or at least he thought)

Plus, didnt i say MS can contol Kurama too? (And hashi can supress biju)

maybe madara miscaculated thinking his ems control will be more powerful than hashirama's suppression or he thinks the kyuubi is too powerful to be supressed

Tsunade saw that susanno, and wondered how in the world hashirama bought it... And she fully well knows what he was capable of..

Hiruzen was NEVER stronger than Hashi. Not in his prime not ever. Hasi was the only one to beat Madara. No one else is doing that. If Hashi can beat Madara than he sure as Hell can stomp Hiruzen into the ground. And dont come at me with that a>b>c logic doesn't work in Naruoverse because in this case it does, the power is so overwhelming that you can't deny it. During that Oro fight,w.e the reason may be, Hiru and Tobirama, we're NOT using full strength. Point blank. No way Hiru could go up against Madar, Kurama, and the PS. But Hashi did and that just tumps everything Hiru has. Hiru was unrightfully given the title as God of Shinobi. he's not fvcking with Hashi
