First let me say I know that until Kishi says who Tobi is there is no way to know.
Second This is not the theory I believe in though i do not doubt it's plausibility, I believe Tobi will either be a brand new character whose story will be revealed with his face or I think it is Izuna, Madara's brother(I can't remember any proof he died)
Now to the weird "twist" on Tobi. Everyone already believes that Tobi is an Uchiha, which i agree with however none of the uchiha i have heard of really seem like they're Tobi. So i started thinking about Sasuke(this goes along with another thread and thought i had) It seems obvious Sasuke and Naruto will become the best ninja in the Naruto universe.
So if Sasuke becomes the best Uchiha in history he'll undoubtedly have some AMAZING eyes techniques and other justu as well if he can develop a copy technique like Kakashi. Techniques that could include desolidifying ones body or creating a safe world within your sharingan to retreat to when damaged.
Now it is a comic and ANYTHING is possible so if you want to refute this please don't just say that can't happen. But what if Sasuke could develop some kind of advance on kakahi/Tobi's sharingan technique where they absorb objects or just create a technique that extorted time to an incredible level and use it to go back in time to correct something that went wrong. Afterall isnt that what most all of the sharingan genjutsu's do control time?
