[Theory] Sasuke and Naruto are the strongest chracters in this story

I'm sure I'll catch a bit of heat for this but it needs to be said.

Everyone lately is talking about how amazing all of the past generation characters were and building up so much hype about characters we really don't even see fight much like Madara, Shisui and Hashirama. I know Madara's fighting know and Hashirama fought in the first series but honestly, he wasn't impressive against the 3rd.

Don't read that last paragraph the wrong way either, I understand they all have incredible legacies but people are talking about them like they are the best characters in the story. Have we forgotten who this story is about?

Like near all stories the main characters are going to be the strongest. I thought at first it would be later but it looks like the manga's ending sooner than i thought so it'll happen soon; but Naruto and Sasuke will both surpass their ancestors in technique and ability by the end of the manga. They may not be at the strength level of some of their ancestors but they will have evolved their styles past previous shinobi including Madara and Hashirama.

Well I don't know about that because Kishi could always make Sasuke die trying to redeem himself. But since Tobi is 4th of the 6 Paths then Sasuke and Naruto will probably be 5th and 6th and one of the strongest but probably not THE strongest.

Naruto Is Currently the strongest character literally....And he is stronger than anyone before him (his own strengths and ability's now fused with the most powerful tailed beast kurama) Naruto cant be beat at this stage in the story

The truth is Naruto in the end will be the strongest and anyone he fights he will defeat just part of how the story writing works, example Naruto gave the fight to the kages to handle Madara; if we changed the story around and it was Naruto vs. Madara we know who will win Naruto, the one reason Naruto losses to Sasuke in the 1st series was so the series it's self could expand. It wouldn't leave much room to work with if Naruto won and dragged Sasuke back. But remember Naruto did give a lot of the battles to others to handle so he can focus on Tobi, so we know that Naruto would have battled Madara and win this isn't a theory either because it's just how a story line will go. Sasuke is Naruto's Rival so Sasuke will get a No Plot Jutsu Power Boost and give Naruto the biggest battle of his life, therefore we know Naruto will Become the strongest with Sasuke behind him then whatever else anyone wants to add to a list.

So umm if the man that made naruto (Mr.Kishimoto) says that naruto and sasuke grow as a pair and are even. then everyone that is saying naruto is going to be the strongest alone is wrong they are going to be the strongest in the series

Yes and no. Every character has the POTENTIAL to be the greatest character, however given the typical archetype for these stories indicate that the stars surpass any previous mentioned character but yes my post is in regards to future time as they are not the strongest at present time(though i do believe by the end of the mangas run Kishi will make Naruto the obvious strongest)

Agreed sorry if there was confusion I do mean Naruto strongest Sasuke second strongest but with the way the story has progressed Kishi is definitely increasing Naruto and Sasuke's power quicker than others.

Exactly I only made this post because i kept seeing endless posts about how amazing Hashirama or Madara were and it struck me as weird people didn't see how a story works. also awesome name
