Ok this is gonna sound odd. I'm going to set down a bunch of scenarios completely at hand of my favorite character in Naruto series, Orochimaru. And I'll raise the question on how serious did the plot guide us off them and maybe what might be the next and final revelation on Orochimaru and Kabuto work. Maybe even a possible identity for Tobi. So as I said this will start off weirdly but will eventually conglomerate in something concrete, meanwhile please bear with me.

So let's see if we can find a character that had both means, knowhow and opportunity to do all of this:

- Clone Hashirama;
- Clone Madara;
- Transplant and modify DNA;
- Possess a body that is compatible with himself;
- Has unlock major portions of the Uchiha Stone Scripts;
- Has the belief that through Senju DNA an Uchiha might unlock Rinnegan;

We all know the answer to this one, right? So why the hell did Orochimaru waste all that time, since he first trampled onto Itachi as his partner, waiting for Sasuke to develop? Why didn't he simply made all of the above combined and enter an half Madara/half Hashirama's body? Plot hole? Or simply plot need? Granted that the story might have been severely different,but the truth is that all of that was at his hand and Kishi give him the means, the know how and the opportunity. He just did not made the one who had it all figured out go for it.

Unless! What if Kishi did? What if Orochimaru or any other Orochimaru (fairly intelligent, well informed and spineless ambitious lunatic) went just as far as Orochimaru did and a little further?

Who else has Hashirama's and Madara's legacy, knows shit loads about medical ninjutso and transplants and DNA, the Uchiha's scripts, Rinnegan and all of that?
Oh yes, that guy... Peter Griffin!!! No.. or is it? Who else is no body, because he might be several? It seems to be a pathological thing amongst the very bright minds in Narutoverse that they have a complete lack of knowledge of who they are.

Either way I wanted to raise more questions than the ones I can answer. Only time would tell us what is it the full picture is. But as we look onto the series we rarely have seen Kishi granting so much to a character and then not making use of that potential. So it really makes you wonder if he let the easiest, safest and surest of all paths to success slid through at least 3 brilliant scientific minds or could it be...

Your thoughts.

I'm still believe Orochimaru will come back. He deserves it after all.

I'd very much like so, Kishi made it possible by killing him in staid of sealing him. But honestly I don't see that coming. Let's say that the role of main villain as been taken already and the weapons Orochimaru could have manage to possess have been already taken and upgraded.

oro will come back when sasuke kill kabuto and oro take's over

Orochimaru failed the first time to take over Sasuke. And that was a fairly weaker Sasuke than the currently one. How would Orochimaru do it now?

Hes alive in Kabuto kind off... basically Kabuto has everything Oro was working on so it could be said that Orochimaru could have easily been one of the strongest

Edo's over. Sorry to break it. I wish Hash would come back but it aint happening. Everyone's battle is coming to a conclusion (Itachi/Sasuke v Kabuto, Kages v Madara) except for Naruto's with Tobi.

Kabuto failed the same way Orochimaru did. Kabuto had access to Hashirama's and Madara's DNA, and we all know that Yamato is the perfect proof Orochimaru, and therefore Kabuto, know how to clone from long gone dead people. So Kabuto should have incorporated Uchiha and Senju DNA in himself. preferable Sasuke's too in order to gain an edge on Sasuke's and Itachi's eyes techniques. Yet after the manga proved that he could have done it and that he knew the advantages of doing so he did not do it...

Kishi has done this to both heroes and villain

Haven't seen from that perspective. Who do you have in mind? What other examples are there? Apart from Nagato's Shinra Tensei on Itachi's Amaterasu..

Kishi wasted Tenten's potential.
Kishi also wasted Ino's potential. Yamanaka clan got OP technique.

All because Kishi himself is Uchiha fanboy.

What does that have to do with the topic? smh

You make it sound so easy. A little proof won't hurt you know!

I actually agree. It wouldn't be easy as Kabuto has long pass the undertaking part. He is know in perfect control of himself otherwise he could have never become a Sage. On the other hand the battle with Sasuke might just put him down enough to make an opening for Orochimaru. We'll see.

I also have that feeling. :)

I guess if he ran out of chakra and he had to do the same thing Sasuke had to do with supressing him. I'm ok with it, if not this is a huge troll.

Now that I think better I don't believe that having Kabuto's chakra levels down will help Orochimaru. The Orochimaru living in Kabuto is not a soul and it's an incorporated part of Kabuto. One would figure that if Kabuto's chakra went down so would the source of chakra that "Orochimaru's" DNA would need to full his overtake. So I don't think it will happen.
