What is the fastest type of jutsu in naruto ?

IS it genjutsu , taijutsu or ninjutsu ?

It could be argued that anyone could be the fastest depending on the user , recently i was reading an article and i can't remember where exactly but it stated that taijutsu is the fastest because it uses less chakra and effort to perform .

What are your thoughts on this matter ?

Sharingan Genjutsu is fastest attack due to you just need look your target's eyes. No Hand seal, no activation time, you just need to make eye contact.

Taijutsu in the hands of a master. Gai, A, and chakra cloak naruto are way too fast.

it depends really. cause itachi can use ninjutsu or gen fast without seeing seals. and can use tai fast before a user can use seals. so its basically irrelvant

thats is true about the activation and eye contact but swing a punch in most cases would take less time i think :shrug:

Also a good point but lets make it on a general level which do think is fastest because high level ninja defy odds alot

and i think it takes less time to throw a punch than it does to use genjutsu thats all

It depends minato can use ftg by just throwing kunai and itachi can use genjutsu way easily to. its depends upon ninja and their field of experties to use techs instantly weather gen tai or nin

Of course it could be said that itachi's tysukuyomi ( genjutsu) or minato's FTG (ninjutsu ) could be arguments , and sure there are fast

But on general out look on being a ninja without S ranks like minato or itachi for example which jutsu is fastest
