Tobi is a piece of Madara's soul he put in a zetsu-repaired body, possibly Izuna's. Just before dying, Madara told Tobi to give a a successor (Nagato) his Rinnegan eyes and then capture all of the tailed beasts so that he could fuse them all back into the Ten-Tails, be revived, and then become the new Sage of the Six Paths.

That's why...
-Tobi's ultimate goal is "to become complete again"
-Tobi was taken aback when Kabuto showed his he could impurely revive Madara
-And Madara knows Tobi, the Moon's Eye Plan, and Nagato


As far as Tobi's Sharingan goes, it could very well be Obito's other eye that Tobi just acquired at some point after his death.

How does madara know nagato? He was dead by the time nagato was born.

We don't exactly know when Madara died. We know he lost against Hashirama and awakened his Rinnegan on his deathbed, but we don't know if he died in that battle. I think Nagato was around before Madara died, and they met each other.

I find it hard to be rude on a website, or IRL tbh. xd I find it a weakness, but ah well. I like being non-rude.

And tbh I want the Uchiha Bros vs Kabuto fight to end so it can go to Naruto and Tobi so we can find out who he is.

I was not complaining, madara does know that nagato exists, so if anything I was not pointing out a hole in your theory I was making it more interesting adding more to it (such as a theory for how madara new nagato, other than the boring "they simply met", a bit too linear for kishi ).

The fact is madara is young in his edo summoned state too young to have met nagato, so the story must be more sinister.

Tobi is sasuke and itachi's father. Think about it he has to be strong he's father are rated in the top 10 list of strongest ninja. I know what ppl will say "oh we saw him die!" be we also saw zabuza "die" then come back. There's genjutsus, shadow clone, zetsu clone that. Pile make that happen.
Then ppl say sasuke's eye burnt tobi when he showed him he's eye Kakashi saw he's sharingan with he's mask on itachi's plan was too hide he's face because it's there dad! Sorry I didn't post pics from the manga on phone and new here
