Kakashi. Naruto's not that strong in Base Mode. His strength in Base Mode would be his Taijutsu (which is above average, although not on par with other Taijutsu users), Rasengan, Oodama and clones. Kakashi has Sharingan, Naruto doesn't have insane speed like Itachi, Minato, A, Sasuke, Kakashi, Lee or Gai. All of ninjas I just mentioned could overcome Sharingan (maybe not Sasuke, it's never been proven or stated since him overcoming his own tech wouldn't make sense. :shrug: )

Naruto. He summons Gambunta. Then makes 20 clones. comes up with a strategy to hit Kakashi with Rasengan. All he needs is one hit with Rasengan and its over.
Naruto is smarter than you think when it comes to battle and with clones it makes it nearly impossible for kakashi to get a hit off.

kakashi is Faster than naruto, Also he had the sharingan, he can easily Predict naruto's movements and Dodge a Mere rasengan.
Also raikiri >>> Rasengan.

Kakashi would lose, Naruto without Bijuu Mode and Sage Mode has a lot of Chakra and Stamina. It would be a long battle and Kakashi would not have the stamina or chakra to keep up.

Naruto's strategy's do not include one rasengan it includes many attempts put together with distractions. Kakuzu who has more experience than Kakshi was fooled. Naruto only needs one hit. And with how much he can spam rasengan it makes Kakashi outmatched.
And Rasengan> Raikari Even Kakashi said so himself.
he Means Bijuu Chakra, Km and Bm both use Kyuubi's Chakra.
Senjutsu Is nature Chakra, Without it he can't use SM

Kakashi's Speed is Far Far above that of Base naruto, I Agree that Gambunta is Troublesome for Kakashi.
Kakuzu Got Cocky, Thats why he Died, he Knew Naruto (or his Clone) were behind him, he Chose to Ignore them. He could of simply Taken them Out and he would of been fine.
Also since when Was it said Rasengan > raikiri?.
raikiri is an S Rank Jutsu, Rasengan is an A Rank Jutsu.
raikiri is a More powerful Form of Chidori and Naruto's Rasengans Always Draws with Chidori.
raikiri > Chidori = Basic Rasengan.

Kakashi has a few speed feats but he has never been stated to be "fast"
Again, Kakashi really cant do shiz about Gambunta.
Kazuku did not get cocky Naruto outsmarted him.

Its been stated that the rasengan is Superior to its counter part. And Naruto could just clash his Rasenshuriken if it comes to it which is an auto win. He has a lot more going for him than kakashi
Naruto has even less Speed Feats.
Naruto has 3.5 in Speed.
kakashi has 4.5 in Speed.
Tobi and Others have comment about His Speed.
Yet no one has said anything about Naruto's Speed Outside of Km/Bm

Chidori is an A Rank Jutsu, Rasengan is an A Rank jutsu, Hence why they always Tie.
Kakashi's raikiri is an S-Rank jutsu, S-Rank > A-Rank.
raikiri > Sasuke's Chidori = Naruto's Basic Rasengan.
