Looks:
Barney keeps his personal appearance as impeccable as possible - clean-shaven, with neatly trimmed dirty blonde hair. 99% of the time, he favors tailored suits with nicely matching shirts and ties, but will dress for whatever the occasion allows, and always with what he considers the pinnacle of style.
Personality:
He is a legend in his own mind, and will go out of his way to tell you so. He is overconfident to the point of hyperbole, and as far as he's concerned, his opinion is not just the best: it's the ONLY one that counts. He makes it a point to be the life of the party ... and if there isn't a party, he'll find a way to make one, and make it "Legen... wait for it... and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is... dary!" Barney is an insufferable womanizer, though whether it stems from a fear of commitment or a simple disdain is debatable. However, if someone he considers a friend is having relationship troubles, he will go out of his way to tell them exactly how they should be resolved. He's also fiercely loyal to the people he earmarks as his friends - even if they may not reciprocate the sentiment. He's also a born performer, fond of karaoke, sleight of hand, and showing off whenever there's a piano present. He hates seeing anyone upset or depressed, though he won't outwardly say so - instead, he'll go to some ludicrous end to cheer them up - including mocking them until they lose their temper, and end up laughing about it afterwards. If anyone calls him on it, he'll just wave it off with a "No need to thank me - I'm just that awesome". Underneath all his ego and bluster, Barney is a sensitive and very self-conscious person... very, very, VERY far underneath. He's buried the sensitive, long-haired hippie he used to be under several layers of expensive suits and swagger, and if it ever shows up briefly, he'll cover it up immediately afterwards. He's starting to actually share more with some of his Bros, and be a little more honest about himself - though he'll still be quick to either bluster over it afterwards, or tell them to pretend the moment never happened.

Barney, being from the Yuki clan, can easily manipulate water which, together with wind, helps him create and manipulate ice. He also showed his mastery over water when he was tested for the Rain. Being a water specialist makes him perform water jutsus more quickly and precisely.

Barney's most noticeable power is the utilization of water and wind chakra to create ice. His power over ice grants him special techniques, like the Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors, which surrounds a target with mirrors that Barney can teleport between and attack from, even if his opponent is in the sky. Barney can release large spikes made of ice and also use water-style techniques, such as Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death, which causes the water on the floor to concentrate into needles with just one stomp on the ground. With his Ice Release, he can create domes that are capable of blocking even multiple exploding tags at once.
Thanks to the long, difficult and exhausting training with Gobi he became a taijutsu specialist.
Cranes are Barney's personal summons. He is specialized summoning them because he practiced the handseals and blood sacrifice movement and brought it to the level of mastery. He has the Crane Summoning Tattoo on his wrist which makes it easier to do the blood sacrifice.

Background Info.
History:
Barney was born in a small, snowy village in the Land of Water, a land that had suffered from war not long before. In this war, different sides battled each other using ninja, some of whom possessed kekkei genkai. After the war ended, memories of the horrific battles still lingered in the minds of the people. Those with kekkei genkai quickly became feared and hated for their abilities, out of concern that their existence would only bring about more war.
Barney lived with his father in a small house. They had an insouciant life and they lived peacefully. Barney never met his mother as she died when she gave him birth. The only memory Barney had about his mother was an old and shredded picture. Barney often asked his father about his mother but he always tried to find a way to avoid the question. His father didn’t like to talk about Barney’s mother because he knew that she was the carrier of the kekkei genkai. Barney was a small kid when he found out that he has the power to manipulate ice. When he discovered it he was scared and horrified and decided to keep it as a secret and never reveal to anyone because all the killing and fighting his village has been through.
To that day there were only two living Yuki members who possessed the rare kekkei genkai, but one day a kid named Haku, whose mother was a carrier of a kekkei genkai found out that he possesses the rare power himself. Haku proudly showed this to his mother, who was horrified by what she saw. She harshly scolded and slapped Haku for displaying his ability, though she tearfully apologized to him afterward. Unbeknownst to them, Haku's father had seen everything from the shadows. When Haku's father discovered that his wife and child possessed a kekkei genkai, he assembled a small mob of villagers, whose part was Barney’s father. With tears flowing down his eyes, he killed his wife. He then attempted to kill Haku. But before he could, Haku used his Ice Release to create several large ice spikes to kill his father and the rest of the mob.
From that day everyone though that Haku was the only left Yuki member and the only carrier of the kekkei genkai. Barney never forgave Haku for killing his father so he decided to train hard and he wanted to confront Haku, one day, and fight him to determine who the strongest Yuki member is and to revenge his father. As years passed Barney was traveling all around the shinobi world and he visited a lot of villages where he stopped for a certain time looking for experienced shinobi in order to improve his skills. On his journey around the shinobi world he also met a lot of other people who helped him, in different ways, to achieve his perfections.
After the night where half of his village was killed, including his father, Barney quickly packed his most essential stuff and ran away with the intention to never come back to his village, leaving all memories behind him. First station was Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Mist. He knew that a lot of great shinobi originated from Kirigakure and he wanted to become one too. He heard all those stories about Mizukage Yagura, the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist and the six-tails jinchūriki, Utakata. He looked up to Kisame and wanted to become a great shinobi like him. He knew that with his kekkei genkai he could easily surpass everyone and become the best. Once he entered the city he was amazed by its size and number of people. He knew that it was going to be tough but he had no choice. He started wandering around the city, looking for food in trash cans and stealing from traders in the market. To be able to steal stuff he had to be quick and smart, wait for the right moment. He found this as the first training and he always gave his best. One day he tried to steal an apple from a booth he always used to steal and a mysterious guy caught him. He grabbed his hand and made him throw the apple back. They exchanged a very deep and truthful look and in that moment Barney managed to pluck out his hand out of this guy’s grip and ran away. Later that day, the mysterious man found Barney hiding in an alley, eating an apple. He presented himself as Gobi Gobletsson and he told Barney that he wanted to teach him taijutsu. At first Barney was confused but then he remembered the look in Gobi's eyes and decided to join him. Gobi then took a big red apple out of his pocket and gave it to Barney with a big smile on his face.
As they spent their time together, wandering around the woods and undergoing a tough regime, Barney’s physical strength rose and Barney became faster and aware of his capabilities. Once Gobi decided that Barney is top fit he started teaching Barney some real taijutsu techniques. He enjoyed watching while Barney repeated all those moves over and over again. Eventually Gobi ran out of teachable techniques and he told Barney that he enjoyed his company and that he has to return back to his village, but he offered him an escort to the Village Hidden in the Clouds. There he met up with Dei Dei who took him as his student and taught him everything he knew about lightning. Even though Barney enjoyed Dei Dei’s company he didn’t like the lightning element that much. He always knew that water is going to be his main element and he felt the connection with water from his first steps.
After mastering lightning he took out his Shinobi World map and his two kunai. He placed the map on a tree and threw the kunai. Where the kunai lands, that would be his next stop. The choice fell on Kirigakure, the city where he started from. Three years passed since the event, but he had it behind him, long ago. He clenched his fists and teeth and left Kumogakure. On his way, back to Kirigakure he met a funny guy named Zancrow. They were the total opposite of each other and that’s why they became so good friends. Barney really needed a friend to share all his stories and someone to laugh with. He was finally happy that he found someone like Zancrow. The trip to Kirigakure was pretty fast and once he entered the city he noticed that nothing changed. He stood on the same place as three years ago, looking at the same picture. They agreed that the first thing they need to do is, looking for a place to stay. They found a small shack for a few miserable Kumi. Second thing to do was looking for some food. Across the street was a ramen shop, perfect place, they both agreed. As they entered the ramen shop and ordered their food, they noticed a mysterious woman, sitting in the corner and talking silently to herself. They started staring at her and she felt it. Suddenly she turned her head and gave them a scary look from which shocked them both. It was a very drunk lady by the name Leaf. As they got their food she invited them to her table and they had to accept the invite, or else they knew that things wouldn’t end well for them. As they finished their meal and found out that Leaf is a Sensei they asked her if she could teach them water techniques and she gladly accepted it, but with one condtion: they have to find her a place to sleep. Luckily their rooms were right across the street, so they carried her to Barney’s room. Barney decided to spend the night outside so he found a nice tree and made himself comfy. In the morning Zancrow woke him up and told him that Leaf is gone and that she left a note. It said: “Sorry guy’s I had some important business to finish, thanks for the room!” They agreed that she won’t escape easily with this and they found her later that evening in a bar, drunk again. They took her back to the room but this time they booth decided to stay and watch over. In the morning they caught her while trying to sneak out and in order to stop her Barney had to use the Lightning Release Technique, creating a few small lightning balls directed at Leaf. As they hit her she fell on the ground, paralyzed. “No escaping, this time” they said and when Leaf came back to normal she agreed to teach them. They started the training on a nearby lake, and their first task was to walk over the lake without getting wet. The guys found it impossible so Leaf had to demonstrate it. After many tries they finally made it, which made Leaf proud. They spent almost six months training with Leaf. They pranked her constantly and Barney loved to add a bit of lightning to his water techniques in order to electrocute the water and make the attacks stronger. The day came when Zancrow had to leave them and return back to his village. Barney stood there with Leaf, watching his best friend leaving, but he faced it. That is reality and it sometimes hurts and there was nothing he could do. Leaf told Barney that she’d like to teach Barney earth techniques too, which Barney accepted with pleasure. They started the hard work and after several months Barney was able to protect himself easily against any upcoming danger. The time came for Barney to split up with Leaf and continue his mission, to become the greatest shinobi ever.
He decided that his next stop would be Konoha, the greatest of Five Great Shinobi Villages. Just before the entrance gate he stumbled upon a tall man, called Nocturnal. He was wearing a weird cloak with a huge sign, which meant Myobokuzan. He asked the tall guy about the place and he told him that he is on his way there, right now and that he can show him, if he wants to. He decided to join the cloaked man. Once they arrived, Barney couldn’t believe his eyes. It was the most beautiful place he ever saw with his eyes. A place of utopia, land of the toads, Mount Myobokuzan. Nocturnal wanted to introduce Barney with the other toads, Crocodile, Hyperion, Nafan, Zombie, Faust, Damon Salvatore, Mercy, Sheldon Cooper, Kushan, Kagutsuchi, Bluetengel, Hellsbadass, Dino, Tobeh, Rihari, Kurapika, Dracule, Alternative, Drizzeh, Lawliet and finally their Pa, Gamahiro. The time he spent with them was the best time of his life. All the good and bad memories, funs and laughs, ups and downs. They became something very special to Barney and he decided never to forget them. During his stay in Myobokuzan, Nocturnal showed Barney some fire techniques, which he mastered easily, making Nocturnal proud and happy. One day, suddenly, a strange person appeared at Mount Myobokuzan and wanted to talk with their Pa, Gamahiro. After the long and exhausting talk Gamahiro told his little tadpoles that they are forced to leave because a certain someone is after the secret powers, lying underneath Mt. Myobokuzan. The person that came to warn Gamahiro was Zise. He wanted to destroy Mt. Myobokuzan in order to conceal the powers and destroy them once and for all, in order to stop the evil guy from obtaining them.
Before he left Myobokuzan he brought his slaves The Doctor and Heister.
With a sad heart and tears in his eyes Barney had to leave Mt. Myobokuzan and he couldn’t forget the fact that he could never come back to the place that made him so happy. His desperation brought him to Amegakure, the Village Hidden in the Rain. The rain was the best way to describe his current feelings and his sadness. There he met a guy called Faith, who was an expert with water techniques. Barney decided that he wanted to improve his skills with water as it was his elemental affinity and his favorite element. Faith taught him a lot of useful tricks and showed him all advanced techniques afterwards calling Barney a master of water techniques. With only one element left to learn he made his way to Sunagakure, the Village Hidden in the Sand. There he met with Oraan Nguyen who agreed to teach him wind techniques and after a couple of months of hard training Barney was almost at the end, until a strange event occurred. While executing an attack on Oraan’s clones Barney suddenly switched to the real one and attacked him, which almost killed Oraan. They ended in a fight, and one of them would probably die if Sunagakure guards didn’t stop them. Barney had to leave Sunagakure and once again he made his way to Amegakure, where he wanted to spend the rest of his life.
Once he entered Amegakure, two unknown shinobi appeared in front of him and easily defeated him. He woke up in a small cellar and had no clue what was going on. The cell doors opened and his formed Sensei Gobi Gobletsson appeared. He jumped on his feet out of happened and hugged Gobi. He was happy to see him, after all this years. He asked Gobi why did he lock him in a cell and Gobi just smiled, without answering the question. Barney told him about all his stories and experiences, about Zancrow, Leaf, Mt. Myobokuzan and even the accident with Oraan. Gobi laughed very hard when he heard about the accident, which made Barney very ashamed and uncomfortable. Gobi, then, offered Barney to finish off his wind training and test him for rain afterwards. Barney couldn’t reject that offer. They started working immediately and Barney finished wind in about a month. The big day was coming and Barney was preparing hard for the test. He had to fight Gobi! His master! He was so thrilled that he couldn’t sleep the day before the test.
The clock ticked noon and Gobi attacked Barney with a Waterfall Basin, taking Barney into air and he took the chance to use the Wind Stream Technique in order to change his direction while in mid air by simply blowing air out of his mouth. It was a great battle, with both attacking and both defending and it was uncertain who would win till the very end of the battle. Barney already had his sharks rushing towards Gobi, while he was trapped underwater but Gobi once again proved that he is a real master by using a forbidden technique called Plungepool Tornado. Gobi was happy to announce that Barney passed the test. That was one of the biggest days in his life, fighting against his teacher and almost defeating him. It was good that he didn’t kill him, or else no one would be able to teach him rain techniques. After the battle Barney decided to take a short break of a few weeks and he decided that he was ready he knocked on Gobi's door. Gobi opened the door and Barney saw Dr. House, his future colleague and partner in training. He was happy because he recalled the times he had training together with his friend Zancrow and Leaf Sensei. After a few months of hard and wet training, due to the constant rain, Barney got sick and had to stop the training. He decided to stay at home for some time until he gets better. It took him almost six months to get back in shape and to be able to continue his training, thanks to The Doctor and Heister he recovered completely. Gobi was long gone when he wanted to continue his training. No trace of him, no nothing. Barney, thirsty for knowledge as he was, he went to Konohagakure where he met a smexy guy called Scorps. Scorps showed to be a great person and a great friend and they became really good friends. Since Scorps was an Elder, he decided to take Barney as his personal student and teach him everything he knows. They started off with genjutsu, a very powerful and useful set of techniques. Barney showed great progress, and at present day he is at B-rank genjutsu techniques.
Ninja Tools:
Crystalline Elemental Blade
Katana
A katana is a long, bladed weapon used for combat. Barney's katana is made of a light but strong material which makes it easier to handle.
Kunai
Kunai, along with the shuriken, is one of the most common ninja tools. It is a black dagger designed for thrusting and stabbing, though it can still do some damage if thrown despite not being designed for it, and is about the length of one's hand.
Shuriken
Shuriken, like kunai, are one of the more basic weapons. They are sharpened, four-pronged metal stars, useful for throwing. Although small, they can be used to distract, pin down enemy shinobi, or if accurate enough, can be deadly. They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also beneficial to the weapons overall aerodynamics, ensuring more accurate trajectories.
Kesshō yōso burēdo | Crystalline Elemental Blade
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: N/A
Description: CEB is made of high density crystal which is the reason why it's so firm and sharp. A very old and secret blacksmith technique was used to create this blade. Rumors say that its previous owner originated from the Yuki clan. Upon his death he sealed a part of himself within it, making the blade chakra infusible and able to react to Fuuton, Suiton and Hyouton chakra. When the user channels his chakra into CEB, it starts glowing in the elements corresponding color and allows the user to use its element effect. Each element has its own effect which, together with chakra infusion, counts as one of three moves per turn. If the user infuses his Fuuton/Suiton chakra into CEB it starts glowing green/blue and allows the user to use its Fuuton/Suiton effect three times per match. If the user infuses both types of chakra, due to his mastery of both and his ability of controlling Ice, his sword starts glowing light blue and allows the user to use its Hyouton effect. When the user infuses Suiton chakra into his sword he can’t change it to Fuuton, but instead he can add Fuuton to get Hyouton, and vice versa. CEB is a very light blade due to its crystal construction and its only 50 inches long so it can be used with one hand. It's also unbreakable because crystal is one of the firmest materials.
Note: Effects can be used only three times per match
Note: Effects count as one of three moves per turn
Note: User can’t use effect two consecutive turns
Note: Chakra infusion lasts four turns
Note: Freezes on touch, unless Hyouton specialist
Note: Can only be used by Barney
