I disregarded that thread, since as far as we know Madara=Tobi, we haven't really seen either characters strength in a situation where it can be compared.

Its makes sense he can use his S/T jutsu on anything he touches aswell as himself and his intangible power seems to be connected to his S/T jutsu in my eyes, so only makes sense that he can make what he touches intangible aswell

I always thought that he could make others intangible. His clothes were not part of his body, so he was either able to make other things intangible or his clothes were made of some special material. But I'm not sure if he can make other attacks intangible. That would mean changing the Jutsu's chakra properties, but it might be possible.
