Pain starts with 6 bodys and their techniques.
Hashirama has his wood release, earth and water release (Genjutsu bringer of darkness) and his recovery on the level of tsunades with their seal.

Hashi mid-high dif. Hashi can't control animal summonings, they aren't tailed beasts. Asura path can't absorb Mokuton. Deva Path and Animal Path are the only threats, the other paths are nonfactors

umm if hashirama didnt know all of pains abilities pain would ahve the advantage early on and could possibly win the battle. but knowing hashirama and his fairy tale powers. he has alot of endurance power etc.

going back to my first point if hashirama doesnt know pains powers the 6 paths would win. lets not forget he is also an uzumaki with the rinnegan people.

Gakido absorbs Ninjutsus, just saying.
Gakido can't absorb any type of Ninjutsu, he absorbs pure chakra.
The Mokuton on the other hand isn't a chakra attack, Hashirama uses his water and earth release in order to create life in form of woods (trees). Absorbing it would be the same as absorbing a human because he possesses chakra.

I see no way for Pain of winning this, Hashirama is too strong.

If Hashirama uses his Tajuu Mokuton Bunsins, they will be equal to each path, 'cause they're way better than normal Kage Bunshins. Whether Nagato can beat Hashirama is debatable, but imo Hashirama takes this obviously.

actually preta can absorb anything chakra based. it absorbed jiraiyas deep fryer and when he captured naruto he sucked his chakra out of him. asura path is very powerful. 360 shared vision, rocket fists, missiles, blades outfitted on his body, self destruction, head laser emmitted from his head, and nagato showed he can form mechanised armour. how cna you say hes no threat?

mokutons a chakra attack. water and earth release are CHAKRA natures. and everythign in naruto uses up chakra except objects like metal weapons
