Every jutsu has a weakness. I'm willing to bet Izanami has one too, despite how powerful it seems to be.

Discussion: Itachi has ruined lives

Looking at other threads I realized how many lives Itachi has ruined in his ambitions to protect the Leaf.

- He killed the whole Uchiha clan. While leaving Sasuke emotionally scarred and seeking revenge his whole life.

- He made Oro jelly and sealed him in a infinite genjutsu gourd.

- He made Diedara joined Akatsuki and obsessed with defeating him like Sasuke

- He trapped Kabuto in a "ground-hog day type genjutsu" for the rest of eternity.

It was either he messed them up or someone else did it and start all out war.

Oro is in a eternal blissful genjutsu. For all we know he is dreaming that he has his parents and is inhabiting Sasuke's body learning all kind of jutsu

Deidara just wanted to be the strongest. Not Itachi's fault

But the thing is Nagato uses Ninjutsus only while Itachi is an all-rounder. He uses powerful Genjutsus, excellent and powerful Ninjutsus (Amaterasu, Susanoo and elementary techniques he can copy), excellent Taijutsu, has a very good usage of weapons and is very smart above. Thus Itachis techniques are harder to counter than Nagatos or Narutos. For example mere Genjutsus were enough to finish with a Kage level Shinobi like Orochimaru. He has several powers and several secrets who could even stop the war, according to Kabuto and now he's really fighting the main villain in order to end the Edo Tensei.

Viewed objectively, Itachi is truly one of the most capable shinobi.

yeah but to be honest he could have been alot worse; even kabuto said he had the powers to end the war himself meaning if itachi had ill intentions he could be as op and madara; we're lucky he's not power hungry like madara xd
