[Discussion] IS Izanami a disappointment???

I was disappointed. Its kinda similar to tsukuyomi and not worth losing a MS sharigan for.

Yes, it's a Uchiha technique but Itachi is the one using it. The user makes a huge difference when it comes to techniques. You would not expect Naruto to use genjutsu, would you? In other words, I am not sure why people are surprised that Izanami is just a very powerful genjutsu. I mean, it's kind of obvious that Itachi would use a technique like this and not something like Chibaku Tensei.

Kabuto is only immune to visual genjutsu's. Izanagi is a yin/yang release genjutsu and obviously does not need visual eye contact. It might be that Izanami works on a similar principle.

Yeah izanami sucks it's just like a genjutsu just with a loop i dont know how it's related to izanagi.

izanagi turns reality into a genjustu for the user, izanami turns reality into a genjustu that affects the opponent by looping till you decide the "right destiny"

i think its a lame way to prolong a fight. And in this case a crap one.

What is intresting about this tech it goes against uchiha fighting styles.

Uchiha want to end a fight quicker due to their lower chakra reserves and use haxxed techs via their strong chakra.

But this tech encourages a long fight not so good if you not an uchiha edo tensei if you catch my drift.

lol really, you think this jutsu can last forever? Izanagi didnt last forver and this is no different given this jutsu is meant to be a counter to izanagi.

I don't think the highest torture genjutsu.

Agreed, Kishi just took a crap in everyone's front yard. He totally trolled us for 4-5 chapters and then when he had to reveal it, he did a very minimal job of itand showed us a very lame jutsu.

I'm a little pissed by it.

im not disappointed in the technique. he basically had to remember the entire battle and then use the izanami to play that battle in an endless loop in his head unless he decides to undo the edo tensei. that is the best way to defeat kabuto without killing him!!

Hmmm this post made me think, how will this undo Edo. If going by your pretake on it, it can only loop to the events Itachi witnessed with Kabuto. Submission? And if that's the case, I'm very disappointed now haha
