theoretically any sealing tech can get an edo
practically it depends on user
while itachi possesses hell of a skills, edo MADARA is too much even for him

I will explain two things.

First thing is.. I saw people doesn't understand what Madara was in his prime ( the time he had the most power ? What his abilities were and other things /

- Madara had fully mastered and went beyond limits of EMS.
- Madara obtained and had the Rinnegan, he knew all it's secrets from Tablet.
- Madara obtained Hashirama DNA himself at the Valley of the End, what abilities he gain - it's still unknown.
- Madara had ability to control Kurama ( Kyuubi ).
- Madara had and has the strongest Katon abilities known so far.
- Madara had and has the most knowlage about Uchiha ( Tablet, Plenty of secrets from old times, being Leader may also get him to know some things, + he has everything Uchiha can have )
- Madara has knowlage and can perform Izanagi, he has knowlage about Izanami it's yet unknown if he was able/is able to cast it.

Madara with only EMS against Itachi with MS

Madara wins this and it's not IMO it's a fact.

- Madaras Susanoo is on more advanced level, he can run, he can go full state if needed.
- Madaras Katon is on a whole different level.
- Madaras Speed, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu is on a whole different level.
- Madara can break down Tsukuyomi ( He's the legend of Uchiha, the master of EMS ).
- Madara can CONTROL the Kurama ( If he can use it then he takes it with low if he cant's then high/mid diff ).
- Madara's Yata is on a whole different level than Itachis.
- Itachi won't last long enough to beat Madara ( I mean he will get tooo much side effects from MS ) so Yata and Totsuka will run out.
- With Itachis speed and brutal strength/ninjutsu he won't be able to Touch Madara with Totsuka, and Yata will reflect some techniques, BUT Madara has intelligence himself, he's in top 5 with Intelligence IMO ( Cause of different things that were shown, told and bla bla won't explain it here ) so Madara won't waste anything on Yata and will use Susanoos weaknesses since he's master of EMS he knows all of it.
- Madara has tons more Chakra and Stamina than Itachi.

EMS Madara > Itachi at full power.

You act like EMS Madara is insanely fast, Itachi at full power was so fast Kakashi couldn't keep up with his hand speed while using sharingan, and he's a genjutsu master, secondly, Tsukiyomi was stated to only be broken by an uchiha with the same blood, as in family. Unless you know for sure Madara is his grandpappy you can stfu about him not being affected by Tsukiyomi, Itachi if put in Madara's situation wouldn't have fallen for that weak lil combo that almost killed Madara, Shisui is more immpresive than Madara, and Itachi has access to KA, Shisui's most powerful tech, and no, Madara's Susanoo isn't holding a candle to Itachi's, no yata mirror there. He didn't use anything when they attacked him... And yes Hashirama was the strongest Shinobi at that time and Madara was almost equal to him, Hashirama was nearly dead after the fight.

Onooki and Muu which are stronger than Clone, Garaa and Onooki was getting raped by madara words... Onooki was dead on his feets and Muu was dead/gone.
