sasuke wasn't given itachi's eyes he took it after defeating him... It's just like saying a soldier who took his enemy's rifle after defeating him is weak... So what about kakashi teaching sasuke chidori?? If you want to play it that way then all ninjas would be nothing if the so6p hadn't created and preached ninjutsus.

He defeated a severely weakened Orochimaru. Kakashi would've easily been able to do the same.

I believe he surpassed Kakashi after he obtained the EMS.

It would have to be when he got EMS because Kakashi was whooping his arse when they fought on the bridge. Sasuke didn't seem like he was going blind until he released a full Susanoo

Kakashi>sasuke because i, like many hate sasuke. In shippuuden, naruto and sakura had to work on a stupid weakness of kakashi to get the bells, so it tells that kakashi is beter than sasuke. Sasuke doesnt even have the brains. Remember, kakashi is smarter than shikamaru, and has more experience than sasuke.

itachi wasnt defeat by sasuke! itachi himself give his eyes to sasuke. sasuke still cant win itachi.

Sasuke had supassed him by the 3 year jump. He is a natural Sharigan user, mastered Kakashi Lightning Blade beyond what he could do, has more stamina. Oro made it painfully clear that a serious Sasuke could have quite easily wiped the floor with Naruto, 1st clone, Sakura and Sai, so Kakashi fighting. Anything after that period is simply overkill.

Best way to put it is that he is Kakashi 2.0. Most of what Kakashi can do, he can do better. The main things going in the others favour is his MS and experierce, that isn't enough when compared to a guy who has spent much of his life preparing to kill a rank S ninja, and soloed Darara at the near cost of his own life, something Kakashi only did when that same guy was missing an arm, out of ammo and was just stalling for time rather then attempting to kill him. Though on the same token at least was aware of the value of backup, something Sasuke is seemingly oblivous of and had almost cost him his life at least 6/7 times in the series.

as much as i wanna say sasuke was stronger when he first appeared in shippuden...although he is my fav, im not gonna be biased, so im going to use logic and key points:
The main reason sasuke would lose to kakashi before sasuke had MS, is because kakashi had it first... and if it were an all out fight, it'd be in kakashi's favor due to sasuke's fighting style, usually sasuke takes a hit to deal a greater one...and if it came down to it... kakashis MS> sasuke's techniques... i can actually see sasuke losing to kamui before his MS... however... after sasuke gained susanoo is when sasuke surpassed kakashi

dude,knowing 1000 jutsu doesnt mean he is the strongest.hashi's mokuton is like 1000 times more powerful than any simple ninja trick for an example xd

This one is tricky, but I suppose it was when he obtained EMS and they were more or less at par when he obtained mangekyou sharingan. (On a side note, Naruto only surpassed kakashi when he obtained sage mode)!

I reckon base Sasuke could give Kakashi a run for his money even win but what's clear is MS Sasuke would kill him so im going to say MS Sasuke out of respect for kakashi fans xd
