Diedaras eye was trained for genjutsus so i think diedara>> itachi... Even if he loses Itachi has no way to escape his suicide bomb (that i can think of).

He can beat anyone else in akatsuki imo.

And edo diedara is god-like since he can blow him self up and live.

Though Deidara is my fovorite akatsuki member, i don't think he's the strongest. Itachi, tobi and pein are stronger and in a different thread we established that Sasori may be stronger too.

Itachi- his best tool is genjutsu which wont work because deidaras eye is trained for it. And if itachi does beat him, deidara will just blow himself up. itachi has no way to avoid it. yata mirror and susanoo wont work.

@BOLDED: DAFAK! Diedara fell for a simple genjutsu against sasuke....itachi's genjutsu are were WAY more powerful than sasuke's, if he fell for sasuke's then he would definately fall for itachi's. re-read and watch the battle.
