can you pay it? if you can go to the courthouse clerks office to see if you can pay it off? if not request to see a judge. but dont turn yourself in at a police station

You said you owe $450...pay it.

Try and come to an agreement with the judge if there is a problem with funds. Jail should not be something you have to resort to. Avoid that.

Well yeah I was supposed to do community service, but I sorta skipped out on it after that new Legend of Zelda game came out.

1: Acquire the blueprints of the jail you're going to.
2: Tattoo it on your body.
3: Escape the prison

All jokes a side, I think it really depends on where you go. I doubt they'll place you in a jail along with murderers, rapists, etc o__O

+rep to you sir
but what if they place him in Guantanamo Bay? o_O xd

That's what you get for not becoming the thane of your city.
With a little help to the people you can skip a lot of jail time and fines :D

Speeding tickets are a civil matter you don't go to jail you get cited to court. Where I'm from that doesn't even happen they just suspend your license until you pay them.

lol yeah straight up, I've never heard of anybody doing time for tickets xd
depends on where you're from I guess.

but if you do get sentenced, I'm sure you'd be in for like, a week.. maybe.

jail only gets intense if you're unfortunate enough to get placed in the gang unit, then you gotta get rowdy.

That's prison, not jail there's a big difference. Jail is just where you get held if you have a court date and they think you are a flight risk. Prison is where you go if you actually get sentenced to do time for a crime. Jail you can get bailed out of, and the severity of your crime determines your bail. prison you are in for a set amount of time and cant be bailed out.

I have been to jail like 12 times, mainly because I was drunk and underage and they just held me until I was sober or until my parents came to pick me up. I have never been to prison though, and intend to never go to prison.

Dude but seriously, Jail isn't that bad.
always remember that they are similar people like you in the world, so others who have a similar case like yours could be there

you made a big mistake by refusing to do public service.

so whats best is to pay the fine before things get worse

Depending on where you end up in jail, as long as your smart enough to not cause problems jail is really more boring than anything else.

He wont go to jail at all, he probably got cited to court and called it an arrest warrant to sound cool.

exactly, so basically, they are just sugar-coating it.
so there is really nothing to be afraid of.
to tell you the truth, i've been in prison twice because street racing is illegal where i am.
apart from that, my prison record is pretty clean and you can imagine how many speeding tickets i've gotten in my life. so the guy really has nothing to be afraid of

Give them 2X how much you owe them and ask for them to call it even?
