Blaze...I think Kabuto needs a certain amount of fresh blood to actually assimilate someone's abilities, or else he would have used Nagato's DNA rather than Karin's. Notice every one of the powers he has absorbed, he had direct access to their fresh blood.

I found this thread great, and i agree as a whole Kabuto is by far the strongest character(unless somehow Edo Madara breaks control, like Itachi), one thing though, i think the message Itachi said is that people overestimated his actions and plans, because they failed, but i dont think he means his fighting skills and analizing abilities, that could only be corrobored in that Itachi will give Kabuto a run for his life in the next chapters, Itachi mentally is much stronger than Kabuto and mostly than any other character in the manga, thats why he is so good.

Becuase he isnt using edo tensei, lmao so far going by feats he isnt using like 90% of his power which Kishi confirmed it is. It was never Itachi and Sasuke vs Kabuto in the first place it was the entire alliance against Kabuto plus Itachi and Sasuke sent after the summoner. An entire world war was needed to take on him at full power, and he didnt even used Madara up to the final stages.

kabuto is powerful but bm naruto, tobi , madara are still stronger then he is

I like most of what I read in here.

About Kabuto using other people's abilities,
I found it interesting that Kabuto himself used the powers of Suigetsu to liquify, but called forth others such as maru, kimimaru, etc. out of his stomach. It looked a bit awkward, but I like the fact that he not only has a shield in front of him with those stomach summons, but he can launch a barrage of random moves.

I don't know if there is a particular reason to it, but I could see it being the amount of effort\research Kabuto and Maru did on those 3. (or the amount of DNA\blood they had on those 3). It was quite clear that Kabuto spent years collecting DNA and blood following Maru's advice (find yourself by gathering as much info as you can) and after Maru died.... Kabuto took that advice to a brand new level... instead of finding himself via gathering, he made himself better by what he collected!

I'm just glad Kabuto absorbed more powers than what he verbally told sasuke. I think Kabuto only mentioned absorbing juugo, suigetsu and karin to Sasuke because Sasuke knew all about those 3, and the others would be kind of pointless (not to mention it's nice to keep some stuff hidden)

I think Kabuto will handle whatever Izanami attempts to do.
I also think Suigetsu and Juugo are going to show up and make it a 4 verse Kabuto fight.

No offense to their fight, but it seems like a battle of "trump cards".

Thanks and good post, but I think he was also referring to the uchiha bloodline as a whole. Uchiha are seen as a superior clan with monstrous ability, and as we have seen other shinobi and even a few uchiha (Madara and sasuke) see their bloodline as being nearly unbeatable (cocky). Itachi was unlike the rest, he knew the limits of the uchiha and knows that power itself isn't enough in any situation. This is why he IMO was/is the strongest uchiha, he knows he is not invincble and could easily admit defeat (not saying he is now). Overall, overestimating isn't his ability necessarily, but the uchiha ability as a whole.

Great post, you bring up good points that should be considered!! I'm not sure those two will join this fight. However, I do see them coming after a victory to give sasuke his power up

No but seriously i completely agree since we have not anything even close to a ninja of Kabuto's abilities in terms of diversity. He has shown great defence, offence AND adaptability in combat for pretty much all situations really :/ Give him a far range attacking oppenant and he can edo summon deidara and fly on his clay bird thing xD

I wouldn't say a lot younger (they were in the exams together) and Naruto should be at his peak with BM.
