Okay so Madara said right before he died the power of the Rinnegan was awaken. Okay so then that means he just used Sharingan during the whole actual fight. What if Madara had awaken the Rinnegan right before the fight even started, and that means he had Kurama in his possession as well...

Madara awakened the Rinnegan shortly before his dead, he still met Nagato which means he was really old, so he wasn't as powerful as he was in his prime with Kyuubi, Hiruzen is a great example that age can affect someone horribly.
Rinnegan Madara and EMS Madara + Kyuubi are equal to me just for the fact that Madara was old and didn't have much time to master the Rinnegan because shortly before his death

Hashirama can surpress Kyuubi, EMS Is way weaker than Rinnegan, Madaras father is much weaker, Madara - The most powerfull and the most gifted Uchiha of all times. Deva Path, Preta Path, Amaterasu, Susanoo, Yata Magatama, Katon - What more does he need ? Hashirama barely won against EMS, there's no way to beat EMS and Rinnegan. No Senju can do that lol.
