Itachi weaker than thought?

Is it just me, or is the aura of invincibility surrounding Itachi just starting to get dimmer? Don't get me wrong, I know he's a tremendously powerful ninja. But the fight against Kabuto is showing that even someone of his cailbre can be troubled. Let's face it, Kabuto has the upper hand against Itachi AND Sasuke. I knwo that they're not trying to kill him, but the fact that they're fighting together makes up for this disadvantage of Itachi.

I hope that Itachi is for a change the one who failed. It would be boring if Itachis Izanagi had success. So in this case not only Kabuto is dead, Madara is theoretically also. I hope that isn't Kabutos end.

I seriously doubt it, from what we've seen in the past Itachi is always calculating and thinking of steps ahead of possible outcomes. While we can see as he's fighting Kabuto he has been protecting Sasuke almost the whole time using the fact that he's an edo tensei to take the blunt of the damage. I still think he have not seen the best of Itachi, We will see the outcome next week

He ain't weak but he ain't that strong, but you gotta look at the fact that kabutos nots trying to kill sasuke(which was stated)and itachi is a edo he can't die, both stipulations are even(in terms of not killing each other), though the ninja involved in this fight are not...

if itachi can't pull this battle of even with sasuke on his side, it would mean that kishi is certainly trolling us with this war. I don't think he'll go ahead and dispose of itachi that easily. plus itachi said izanami was ready.
so no telling what'll happen next

He's not weaker than you thought, it's just that some people like to hype him beyond belief like he could drop Nagato. Itatchi is most likely making a comeback with Izanami, but I personally want Kabuto to regain control over him and send him into war to do some serious damage.

Things that don't add up in this fight:
Kabuto has enough chakra and skill to control and maintain his edos while fighting.
Itachi's ridiculous skills (making seals, clones, and throwing shuriken at the same time) haven't been used once.
Itachi uses clones constantly, he hasn't used clones even once.
Itachi has a Giant Fire ball and they're in a cave, why hasn't he used it?
Itachi has been hit twice (before this no one ever made contact with him)
The Orochimaru snake had it's eyes open and Itachi didn't hit it with Tsukuyomi. He's been waiting for a moment to use it the entire time and there it was and Itachi didn't use it? PLOTHOLE.

Yes, but don't also forget that Kabuto has a disadvantage in this fight too. He doesn't want to kill Sasuke, and Itachi is an Edo, which makes it complicated for him to win. We've seen it, even when he had advantage to hurt Itachi, Sasuke was there to save him, and vice verse.

no beacuse they are not trying to kill kabuto they want to capture him alive so they can undo edo. it would be easy easier if they could just kill him.

well, to be fair kabuto is an insanely powerful character, he's taking on ems sasuke and edo itachi singlehandedly and winning. on the other hand, itachi would clearly have died twice vs kabuto so far were he alive.

anyway, I like the character, but I've always felt that his fanboys built him up more than he actually is. He's mid-kage level, but after Itachi stopped Orochimaru from taking over his body started getting out of hand, forgetting that that was in no way a fight and that oro could easily have regenerated and continued fighting, even if he would have lost nevertheless (which he would have).
