We speculated this for a long time, but now it's clear that Sasuke's Mangekyo genjutsu isn't Tsukiyomi.

This also proves that you don't need to have mastery of Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu in order to awaken the Susano'o.

I've been saying this for a while now, but people kept ignoring it and saying otherwise.

The fact is Sasuke has NEVER refered to any genjutsu he's used as tsukuyomi while Itachi has including in this chapter.

How does he use Susanoo then? IIRC it was stated that with Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi the third technique is Susanoo. :|

How does he use Susanoo then? IIRC it was stated that with Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi the third technique is Susanoo. :|

That was stated in the databook for Itachi's susanoo meaning it was most likely only referring to him.

Sasuke stated a while back when at the kage summit all one needs to awaken susanoo is to have MS in both eyes. No mention of tsukuyomi.

Sasuke has used tsukyomi on killer bee, danzo and just now in the last chapter.

Sasuke and itachi both used tsukyomi to cancel out the genjutsu used by kabutos tayuya flute.

This thread fails. Go reread the manga instead of giving false info noobs

so how does he use susanoo then? perhaps we have yet to see it? sasuke does not use much genjustsu so maybe he has yet to have a need for it. sasuke uses rigged traps,taijustu, and his element to fight, he fights like a upgraded kakashi. itachi would use it more since it suits his style of combat.

i am just saying because he did not use it does not mean he does not have it, why would itachi's eyes being given to sasuke not have tsukuyomi also? makes no sense to me. itachi is a edo sasuke is not and tsukuyomi takes a lot of chakra does it not?
