The Biggest Plot hole in Naruto!?

Byakugan is not a plothole. And it was never on par with the Sharingan. I doubt that it is related to the Uchiha in any way (and vice-versa for Sharingan to Hyuuga, considering that part 1 Kakashi's saying was not a developed thought and Kishi changed the story for that dramatically) and/or leads to developing the Rinnegan.

Now you saying that it's a plothole is just you being a fan. Kishi just doesn't consider Byakugan to be of big worth (at least for now) and is the Hyuugas in the series are side-characters, which is not the case for guys like the Uchiha (Sasuke being the main character), Senju or Uzumaki. Therefore, there is no need (for him) to make a side-character, which doesn't get much note, or making his jutsus, stronger.

I do like the byakugan but i actually like the sharingan more. i am just pointing out a discrepancy in kishi's story. we have been clues of the origin of the sharingan but none really on the byakugan. since kakashi said that the sharingan developed from the byakugan it means we need more info to make the lineage of the doujutsus to make sense. so either kishi forgot what he wrote. or he knew and drastically changed the course of the story from that point.

1)Chakra levels are somewhat of a mystery because it has never really been set in stone how much a person has. We can only go off of how much they have shown that they have.
2)This is actually mostly correct as many of the younger generation are beginning to surpass their masters.
3)Kishi did say there would be technology, though it wouldn't be high tech. More like 16-32 bit computers at best.
4)Its probably a special seal that only he and choice few others are capabnle of. The designs were based off of the famous uzumaki clan seals and specially design for combat by minato himself.
5)Its not even known if he is truly an uchiha. He has never said that he had tsukuyomi and therefore doesn't use it. Sasuke tried at it the Kage summit at A, but due to A's raiton armor, it was considered ineffectual. Also, it was noted by Danzo that sasuke's tsukuyomi is relatively weaker than Itachi's so it wouldn't have the same effect.

1)They only seem inconsistent as people gain better chakra control with age and experience, some more than others. As I said, using what is currently shown in the beginning is a good estimate as to how much chakra they each have.
2)That is up to personal interpretation. Each kage had different abilities and characteristics that made them who they were.
3)This is a fantasy story, not a sci-fi
4)its actually more like reverse summoning onesself, but using seals to do it.
5)Maybe he tried to use a genjutsu in tsukuyomi and figured it out himself. He's pretty smart after all.

Idk. I dont think the byakugan is over, Neji is still alive, and so is the rest of the Hyugga clan, so maybe it's still coming up. Also i think that a major missing part is more Senju people!!!

Orochimaro had like what, 60 kids, just because Oro supposed that all but Yamato had died, does't mean the other young ones aren't in hiding. I really want another Mokuton user out there.

We have seen so many fodder ninja's with byakugan and they are all useless they are just mostly used to scout the area. I don't think kishi forgot about this I think he DECIDED just to focus more on uchiha, senju, so6p stuff for part 2 of naruto. It is a real shame though .

And also I don't think byakugan can upgrade to sharingan and rinnegan I think they have the similar relationship to uzumaki's being a distant relative to senju. So just like you can't say the uzumaki's can upgrade to senju, I think it is the same with byakugan and sharingan.​

1.Chakra stamina/levels
They don't make a lick of sense. If you remember how chakra control is explained then none of it makes sense. Low stamina comes from wasting chakra but Kakashi who has perfected his chakra has low stamina. Naruto who has always wasted his chakra has tons of stamina. WTF
2.The next generation surpasses the last. This was a huge theme. Naruto>J-man, Sasuke>Orochimaru, Sakura..fails. Then all of Edo ninja are way stronger than their counter parts.
3. technology. Did you notice the TVs the lords used?
4. Summoning/teleporting: if Minato can use seals to transport himself instantly why doesn't everyone use that to get around?
5. Tsukuyomi. If Tobi has an MS and can use Tsukuyomi why doesn't he do that to the Kage at the summit? Same for Sasuke.

Other people cant use ftg to transport because if you rember what the 3 guys said that they dont know how to do it perfectly and if they transport a human theyll be ripped to shreds so its not that simple.

Uzamaki is more of you cant think realated to both if you notice they got strong chakra stamina.

Don't forget that only 5Uchiwa(Madara,Izuna,Itachi,Sasuke,Shisui), and before the generation of Itachi, there was only 2 who had the MS(Madara and Izuna) in all Uchiwa clan history. The other had only regular sharingan at best so far we know. And regular sharingan is comparable to Byakugan. In each clan there are genius(like Neji is also a genius in Hyuga clan), but if you compare the other Uchiwas to Hyugas the difference of power won't be that huge. I even think that in certain circumstances, Hyugas are better.

Now you talk about MS or EMS which makes the sharingan far more stronger than Byakugan, but you forget the sacrifice you should make to have it. For MS, you must killed your best friend. For EMS, you must steal your brothers eyes. Do you really think Hyugas even if the could do something like that, would accept that? Maybe but it depends on people.

Itachi said Uchias killed each other for ms so I beg to differ. Also those are 5 named characters. It said numerous time people awake ms but they downt awkaen Susanoo or amertasu tsukiamio if you read the words. Itachi said to Sauske you have gained susanoo impressive also btw It is said impressive to have a Uchia to awaken susanoo so theres kinda hidden information in the words also.

I don't think he can really do too much with the Byakugan now...seeing how the series seems like it's coming to an end. And if he does then it would just seem like he's tossing out powerups to me, even though the Byakugan was due for one a long time ago. :|

True. And also it has something to do with the characters involved with it: neji and hinata. No offense to anyone but they are boring, peripheral characters. Too minor to be paid any real attention to. If they contributed to the plot more, I definitely feel that kishi should have done more with the Byakugan, but they're not and he won't waste the time when he has to pull new sharingan techniques out of his a**U_U

1. doesn't chakra grow stronger,i mean they are not born with that amount of chakra.

2. Ooniki seems to be pretty strong even if he's like 80 years old^^ and Mei. tsunade is just crap compared to the others and the third raikage was a ****ing killing machine.

3. as you said it's a manga...

4. it's more to it than just a few seals. you have to have good enough chakra control, and a big amount of chakra to. If otherwise you wouldn't need 3 high jounins together just to do it once.

5. i think that Itachi did learn it himself, i mean com'on man his just brilliant. and with Sasuke i agree with you... To try and figure out Tobi is like trying to know next days weather, you may guess right a few times but overall you have no idea=P
