Sasuke is a disappointing antagonist

I have to agree sasuke is to easily painted in other people colours to be a strong antagonist. Whilst they were once rival at his current place in the manga, Sasuke is no long fit to measure naruto's strength against, and therefore fails as an antagonist.

YOU DON'T SAY??? but seriously, Sasuke=Gay really he ain't nothin compared to Naruto or any villain in fact. He used to be cool, and I'll be honest, I was a fanboy till he fought Deidara. But he just lost all his personality and he looks like a spammer/troll/flamer. Sasuke just doesn't cut it as an antagonist anymore I'm sorry. :flaw:

I know there were better villains in Naruto, but hey it's Sasuke's turn to play the villain now. Along with Tobi and Kabuto. xd Lets see how this fight with Kabuto will turn out though. Sure he completely went down hill, but I still kind of like him as an antagonist. Not as much as I loved Oro or Nagato though. xd

If you take the time to actually read the OP he has a point. All of the major antagonists of the series have had major goals. Whether to bring world peace, learn the secrets of all jutsu, etc these major players have been willing to do what ever they can to achieve their goal.

Sasuke on the other hand became an avenger because Itachi told him to. Than once Itachi died he was lost and didn't know what to do. Enter Tobi and his well timed monologue about how konoha set Itachi up, and Sasuke becomes Tobi's pawn. Tobi has been grooming him ever since nagato died since he needs a new person to sync with the gedo maza. He wouldn't even have EMS if Tobi didn't take Itachi's body and ask whether sasuke wants him to implant the eyes.

Someone that is so easily manipulated by others can't be a strong lead antagonist.
