Sasori is immune to Genjutsu (general speaking)

I'm guessing your not understanding what i'm explaining, Kakuzu was able to use 5 hearts 4 of them without brains were able to move on there own if not why would he have to turn around and see what's happening if there all linked threw the same brain.

Sasori core was not stated if it was his heart or brain but getting stabbed in the brain like that your speech patterns would not be that clear so i'm uncertain. Genjutsu is used by the nerves system like sense of touch,smell,sight,hearing, & sound to come to a completly conclusion you'd need to know what the core is made up of. So you can cross out sense of touch & smell putting him into genjutsu :shrug:

Yeh I understand what you are saying. Its just that you was talking about the lack of a nervous system why Sasori not feeling pain when he is hit and the inside of the puppet body being hollow which I didn't really understand. But I might have just misunderstood what you meant.

We will probably be a little more enlightened when Izanami is revealed.It decides somebody's destiny, and unlike Izanagi it is not targeting the person casting it.How can it bypass all the five senses? It must work through some sort of mechanism which could get us closer to this mystery.

i have a relatively simple theory for izanami

izanagi = turning reality into genjutsu
izanami = turning genjutsu into reality

w/e that may mean lol:shrug:

Like this Sasori stood in a poison cloud and it had no damage to him what so ever. Sasori isn't bound by the limitations of a human body because he traded him so things like sense of smell or touch, physical damage has no effect on him unless you hit him in the core. So all around that means those two ways of getting him into a genjustu wouldn't work

I have a feeling if Kabuto did try using the core on Edo Sasori i believe he would have been able to break free seeing as he has to put a control spell to fully bind them.

Not really, Izanagi works regardless of the 5 senses. Izanami could be some type of genjutsu which allows you to target the opponents mind, find out their history, make them believe something else, transfer their memories into someone else *cough* Madara to Tobi *cough* or something like that. That wouldn't require the 5 senses.

I have never stated otherwise. Izanami is more intriguing, though, to me, since it is not cast on the user but others. It might, likely, be something that changes someone’s perception through the mind like you suggested, but, it could just as easily be something entirely else.It could work by directly targeting the opponents heart/soul and make him/her realize the error of his/her ways, or simply force the opponent to change which would open a way for Sasori to be caught. I know it’s far-fetched, but we don’t have enough info on the technique (besides it being a pair with Izanagi, and it probably being a genjutsu that turns into reality) and this is probably one of the last times Kishi can change how genjutsu works.

I doubt it but only time will tell.

With that said skin and all human organs have sense receptors so by having that little piece of human remains atleast one sense can be manipulated

But genjutsu doesn't just affect senses.. It affects chakra in the cranial nerves to be EXACT....
It is the cranial nerves in the brain that controls most the senses..

For eg the Olfactory controls your sense of smell ..<-- A sense that sasori has no longer..

A genjutsu user controls those cranial nerves, and could make you do what he wished..
If he wanted you to see Red clouds and a Red moon, He would target the Optic nerves in the interbrain to make you see Red clouds and a Red moon...

Kishi however didn't explain everything to well, and sasori has found a way to maintain
1) sight,
2) Sound

Those are just about the only unexplainable things... But it simply has to do with the fact that it's a fiction story.. where someone can make themselves into a puppet, and someone has blue skin and looks like a shark... We can't make sense of any of it.. But what is clear, is how genjtusu works.
