Imo, Ems madara is still greater than itachi and Ems sasuke. Their only chance is the sword of totsuka. Other than that, Hashirama has seen all the Mangekyo moves and probably knows how to counter them.

You have got to remeber that Hashirama has spent practically his whole life fighting the Uchiha up until they started the villige. If anyone has exp. fighting the sharingan or even the ems it would be Hashirama. He was no slouch in the genjustu department either.

Like we're seeing now, Madara use rarely genjutsus. Itachi is an expert in genjutsu. His tsukiyomi can't be countered. Hashirama maybe fought against other Uchiwas, but he has never fought against Itachi.

susano gets restrained by mokuton. the moment a bleeding eye is seen a wood wall will be put up. same goes for sasukes blaze release magatamas. hashirama was avoiding genjutsu from uchihas all his life and fought the strongest uchiha in history. not looking in their eyes is a basic rule. hashirama would instantly turn the area into a forest to give himself the environmental advantage. hashirama can also merge with his trees to avoid detection. hashirama can also make wood clones. hashirama is also a weapons master and can hold his own in a kenjutsu fight with sasuke or itachi. he can also advance his weapon mastery by using mokuton in conjunction with his weapons.

Probably Hashirama. His wood clones would probably save him against Amaterasu and the like via feints (Madara told us how hard they were to see through), plus he can hide in his wood similar to LAC. Hashirama has fought Madara multiple times and should logically have a counter, but excluding that, he can create nature from below the 2. If Tsukuyomi is really their best hope than I'm going for Hashirama.

Perhaps once we see what Izanami does, Itachi will be able to sacrifice his eyes to save his brother or something.

Yes, but don't forget Itachi can cast genjutsu even without eye contact. And i doubt Hashiramas genjutsu is on the level of tsukiyomi. Even Kurenai who is an expert in genjutsu couldn't deal with Itachi.

yea but he has not fought an uchiha like itachi who is smart as he is an uses genjutsu out of any were an he probly never fought izanami ether...him an sasuke will take this he never fought against a susanoo like itachi or sasuke's as well.
