My favorite character in naruto is Neji Hyuga.
First and for most, my favorite eye ability is Byakugan the abilities it has are awesome. THe eyes abilities well suited to the Hyuga clan and the abilities they use. Plus i find his martial art especially fascinating because its the only one I know that doesn't need to make full contact to make it count. 8 trigrams 64*. His intelligence is high as well, maybe not as high as shykamaru, but pretty close giving him the ability to read situations and see an enemies weak spot and exploit it and will lead to his advantage. (example: one of the naruto movies, he saw the flying attackers on Konoha, and instantly saw there disadvantage and how there systems work. Mind you the Byakugan helped)
Plus he is the only Hyuga they really show to go beyond his clans heritage and defy his destiny and become one of the most powerful ninja's and figuring out his clans deepest secrets by himself. Thus giving him the respect of the main branch family. I Also like how after being defeated by Naruto he went passed the defeat and saw it as a chance to grow and learn from the situation, which he did.
This is just a breif overview, but I can't wait to see why other people like who they like. and please try to be a bit more specific then "the first hokage, because he has wood release".
