Orochimaru Vs Sasori

They were partnered in the Akatsuki. Both are strong in their own way, knowledge is what the manga says it is(for both characters).

Who do you think wins?

State why, explain and don't spam with Oro ftw or Sasori ftw, give reasons. Also please note that both have all abilities shown thus far, Sasori is in the Hiruko puppet form and Oro is, well like Oro lol. Location is a plain field.

Hard one. Orochimaru abilities are for more seen to some extent that have shown that he could dodge/counter or somewhat recover from Sasori attacks. However, it has not been stated that he is resistance to Sasori's poison. I say Sasori.

oro coz of his snakes,he can come out with his snakes frm anywhere,sasori will give him tough time but oro will win with very high diff,oro sankes r problem for sasori and his puppets,puppets will not enough to keep up with snakes

he is tolerant of poison ( it was said when sakura tried to kill sasuke with the poison kuni kakashi said that wouldnt work because he trained under oro to have a high tolerence) so that like half of sasoris moves right there.but i think sasori poison is more powerful then sakura's)
so maybe oro can die from that poison,but edo tensei will help oro win

Oro would win because 1. he is tolerant of poison ( it was said when sakura tried to kill sasuke with the poison kuni kakashi said that wouldnt work because he trained under oro to have a high tolerence) so that like half of sasoris moves right there 2. Oro could just use the eight headed snake thing and he dead 3. Oro and him were partners so im pretty sure he knows the scroll in his chest means instant death so Oro would win hands down

I will go with Orochimaru. I think he can resist Sasori's poison too, Sasori's main deathly attacks can not hurt him. So he just need to dodge from Hiruka's tail and he can do it i think. Then 3rd Kazekage is the worst one for orochimaru i think, but he could parry with triple rashomon his magnet release attacks and it is still puppet, he has plenty of snake jutsu + imperfect edo tensei due to talismans. after all he has really huge chakra pool, Kabuto said that when he is controlling edo's. And Manda can own 100 fodder puppets.

It is possible it can work. However he would probably still be under the effects of the poison. I could be mistaken, but without any proof, I can not say.

Oro can create a doton kage bushin against sasoris poison, then use his ku no tachi to break hiruko's shell. Oro can then use futon daitoppa nd then look for a chance to use edo tensei.

Well Sasori beat the 3rd Kazekage who was the strongest ever Kazekage and made him into a puppet, so what's your point?

It looks to me like Sasori is under rated.

Look back to when Sasuke and Naruto have that flashback fight after sasuke defeated Danzo Kakshi says poison wouldnt work on him because it doesnt work on oro :scorps:

Both can win, but I would say Orochimaru more often than not. He's immune to all sorts of poisons, and had intel on Sasori. Guarantee he's immune to that poison as well. Weapons don't really affect orochimaru that much either. Extremely durable. I don't see Sasori killing him is all.

If Kabuto was'nt a back stabbing double agent, Sasori would have had the edge if he had learned of Orochimaru's experiments and how Edo Tensei works.

Btw, this thread is kinda relevant to the latest manga as well since Sasori has been shown, he clearly planned on confronting Oro, and likely would have had he not died.

We don't know how Sasori beat 3rd Kazekage. Maybe Sasori killed him sneakingly with poison? Maybe there were not any fight. Because he is too young when he left town and kidnapped 3rd Kazekage.

False. Sasori said it was a 'real pain' to bring the Kazekage into his puppet collection:

It would'nt be a pain if he did'nt even fight him, not to mention the fact that its just dumb to think the strongest Kage in a village's history would be killed w/o a fight.
