If he fought against him and won against Magnet Release which is superior effects on Puppets. Sasori is too powerful but i am still think he cant win against most powerful kazekage who has Magnet Release. Maybe there were a fight but Kazekage drunked in someway by Sasori like Jiraiya when Jiraiya & tsunade fight against Orochimaru. But just opinion and i am thinking of that too; sasori really underrated char in Narutoverse

oro wins mid-high diff. oro is much more agile than sakura or chiyo. you see how long it took them to even get scratched by poison? oro would go through this fight without even being poisoned. oro has things saku/chiyo didn't. summonings. substitutions. edo (which he wouldn't need here).

summonings > fodder puppets
regen > water/fire cannons
leech all creation for emergencies
twin snake sacrifice jutsu

Now we know that Kabuto was a double-agent, always secretly working for Orochimaru when he had been Sasori's spy, it's safe to say that Orochimaru is immune to Sasori's poison. Still, it's a mere assumption.

Kabuto didn't know as much about Sasori as people assume, in all the years he was pretending to work for him, he had never seen Sasori's face, he was still unsure whether or not he was looking at Sasori when Yamato emerged from the false Hiruko puppet. It is my belief that Sasori wasnt in the dark about Kabuto's true motives. He and Orochimaru are both brilliant strategists with an unbelievable arsenal up their sleeves. They are around the same age and have similar levels of experience.

It's really a shame that Sasori got NO on screen fight time besides being trolled by Sakura/Chiyo. When he first confronted Kankuro outside of Sunagakure, I started wondering how ANY of the current team were going to defeat him, and thats before he revealed 90% of his arsenal.

Mega respect for both of these characters, and it sucks MEGA balls that we never got to see this team work together in Akatsuki, they would have easily been the most successful pair behind Itachi and Kisame (I dont count pain and konan as a team because you never see them working together outside of waaay long-ago flashbacks before they were as powerful.)

Not only that but he seemed confident in killing him ALONE..

Plus he isn't immune to Sasori's poison, it annoys me when people say Orochimaru is immune to ALL poison.. People should understand that no one in Narutoverse is immune to all kinds of poison, when Kakashi talked about Orochimaru the keywords was "this kind of poison", he meant the poison Shizune created or Konoha's poison generally, so Orochimaru isn't immune to Sasori's poison since it's self made.

Sasori's 3rd Kazekage Iron sand, 100 puppets, and Self puppet filled with Blades, poison, flames and can rebuild itself or switch to another puppet can beat Orochimaru.

Orochimaru's weak Edo Tensei, 8 headed Snake form, and various knowledge on jutsu's do put up a great fight but, it isn't enough. Even on Data book he's below sasori.

Orochimaru couldn't take down a village. Sasori took down a NATION.

Sasori's attitude and swag is just through the roof. When he heard Sasuke killed Orochimaru, Sasori was actually kind of infuriated and depressed because he wanted to do it with his own two hands. Having such confidence says something about a character. And the fact that Deidara calls Sasori "Master", speaks volumes about Sasori. He is not one to mess around with!

The thing that makes Orochimaru so powerful is his durability. But I think it can only go so far. Sure he can regenerate from almost ANY attack, but it's still undecided on whether poison will affect him. If it does, only one SCRATCH will do the trick. How many Kage level ninjas fight without getting ONE scratch. Almost none. Orochimaru has some pretty powerful jutsu, and I'm sure he has a large scale one that can destroy most of Sasori's puppets.

But I think Sasori never really went all out. He seemed always indifferent when fighting. I'm sure there is another level to him where he REALLY goes all out. Didn't he also die with one more scroll on his back? Maybe that was an even more powerful trump card. Also, there is still speculation about how chakra strings work. We know puppeteers can connect them to OTHER HUMANS (ie. Chiyo and Sakura). For all we know, Sasori can connect his strings to the back of Orochimaru and make him stab himself with a kunai over and over again. We also know a puppeteer can connect chakra strings to inanimate OBJECTS. Sasori can steal Orochimaru's Kusangani just by attaching a chakra string to it and yanking it out of his hand! Then he'll give it to one of his puppets!

Plus, I truly believe Sasori's ultimate attack is to have 100+ various jutsus fire at you at once. Since you can have over 100 puppets out at once, and they all can maintain their original abilities, imagine the damage he could do! You think Kakuzu is impressive by firing 2 or 3 elemental attacks at once? IMAGINE SASORI FIRING 100+ elemental jutsu at once! WATER, FIRE, WIND, LIGHTNING, EARTH...you name it! And that my friends, is how you take down a NATION!

Orochimaru was NEVER a speed/dodger fighter.. his fighting style relied on tanking any jutsu, and using his snake skin regenration ..

Oro going an entire fight without getting scratched is preposterous , I Don't believe even tsunade can do that, and she's the one who trained all her life to not get hit..
