dude kakashi is no prodigy and orochimaru is no prodigy either, just cause hiruzen loved to suck orochimarus **** dont make him no prodigy,
and kakashi was no prodigy either, even orochimaru said that compared to sasuke he is nothing
so you wanna compare people like orochiamru and kakashi to someone like itachi or minato? r u high?
this is the same orchimaru who got defeat by itachi with a simple genjutsu?
the same itachi who paralyze kakashi for a week in bed?

kakashi and orochimaru may be stronger than the average shinobi but they are no prodigies
and there is no way in hell nagato can be a prodigy when tobi gave him the eyes in the first place, he was not born with shit, he is an uzumaki which is not directly related to the rikudo sage
The difference is those characters were born with those traits, Naruto wasn't. I have no doubt he would have been a great ninja with or without Kyubi though. His dad was the 4th Hokage for gods sake.
Why all this hate for Kakashi and Orochimaru?
You can't really blame Orochimaru for losing, the Sharingan is hax.
Again, do you have solid proof? Until then, Nagato is a higher prodigy than Itachi.
Also, the Uzumaki are distantly related to the Senju who are a direct descendant of the sage
Shusui can be a honorable mention, great genjutsu talents.

Minato is only below oro in my opinio because look at the difference on how hiruzen ised to treat oro as a kid compared to anybody else..he thought he was the best thing ever born until he started experimenting ..

True, but Naruto was born with genes to be the most appropriate host for Kurama, since only Uzumaki Clan members have been its jinchurikii. Besides, Naruto was only alive for like less than an hour before Kurama was sealed in him.

Haku is the only one in the series that we have seen us one handed jutsu seals. Zabuza said he was stronger than him already, and kakashi noted that he would grow up to be more powerful than himself. I think in terms of child prodigies, haku is well up there.

i dont hate kakashi but i hate orochimaru, he is highly overated, also there is no way nagato can beat itachi with or without reningan, r u kidding me?
dude its itachi he is the only who figured out the reningan's blind spot and attack from there, i am sure itachi can rape nagato easily
and the proof is that nagato is an uzumaki, how can uzumaki be born with the sage's eyes? tobi gave them to him
also kakashi is a genius but he no where near genius level of itachi or minato
i dont even consider neji a prodigy cause they have done nothing spectacular since the chunine exams
a lot of people on the forums love to talk about preta path this and all kinds of paths
what people dont understand is that itachi is a genius second only to minato itachi will figure out a way around all those paths and if all else fails he can use his sword of totsuka which nagato cant block or he can use inzanami (whatever it does)

I prefer consider those who managed to get strong on their own, and those who doesn't rely too much on their KG or other abilities they have got when they were born as prodigies. That's why ninjas like Hashirama doesn't appear in my list and that's why for me Minato is a better prodige than almost every one. He is born as a normal ninja without KG and only with his talent he managed to become one of the strongest in naruto universe.
Kakashi also is one of them. He is born as a normal ninja without special abilities but he managed to upgrate and improve on his own. Being chunin at 6, jounin at 12. He learns rasengan when he was younger than 12, create an S-rank technic at 12years old(not learn but create, wow). He receives Sharingan and without even being an Uchiwa, he developped it up to have MS.
Itachi, i think i don't need to talk too much to describe such a genius. I also believe Sasuke didn't made great efforts to aquieve his powers, that's why i don't put him higher than that, and for the rest it's just my personal feeling about that.

Is Nagato an Uchiha? If not then it is 100% impossible for him to get the rinnegan without someone giving it to him.

You could say the same thing about Nagato or Karin, who are also Uzumaki Clan Members. Naruto was not born naturally with Kyubi, like Sasuke w/ Sharingan or Neji w/ Rin'negan. But, I get what you are saying bro.

woah woah woah if u dont mind me asking where'd you get izuna from? there isn't much if any proof of him being a prodigy other than statements that he trained with madara as his brother & was pretty strong cause of the MS. I agree with oro, hashi, sasuke kakashi madara and itachi but the rest I'm a bit skeptical
