... he never wanted to fight any leaf ninja... he went through a lot to protect them all and it was probably just a lie! he could have wasted orochimaru a long time ago, and tsunade wouldn't stand a chance seeing as how she seems to like taijutsu, jaraiya would have been the only one to put up a real fight, and only if he had the chance to summon the toads!

Well we never really got to see Itachi fight... i know that some of u will say "What about his fight with sasuke?" Yeah what about it if u ask me it was more of a test to see if sasuke was ready to take on madara and he was going blind... anyway Itachi at full strength would take out oro and Lady_T, but J-man would give him a fight w/ sage mode and all

Couse he can use ametarasu wich can kill everybody in a seconds and he can use Sasunoo with ultimate defense , plus he got tatsuka sword -the most powerfull sword in the world.

jesus fucking christ, its not difficult, its not rocket science, the dude has a fucking mirror that blocks all attacks, plus a sword that has hundreds of feet of reach, fire that burns through anything which jiraiya has to take time to seal tiny amounts into a scroll, an eye attack that causes mental breakdown, and can cast genjutsu from any part of his body which jiraiya is weak at, plus he is the fastest ninja ever, even kakashi the copy ninja cant keep up with his speed, and we saw him in shippuuden with his hand seals.

All kishi interviews are fake, there is no official "strongest ninja" and data books etc etc that are actually accurate, but come on

OROCHIMARU HAS FOUGHT AND NEVER WON AGAINST JIRAIYA, THEY ARE EQUAL, AND ITACHI HAS BEATEN OROCHIMARU TWICE!!!

He became a chuunin aged 10, even the 4th hokage only passed the academy aged 10, itachi then became an ANBU SQUAD LEADER at 13.

He is konohas most skilled genius.

Also take into account he was dying of a terminal illness and wasnt using his full strength against sasuke, only acting, and he gave naruto loads of his power, and even with this, hed STILL own the 3 sannin.

The whole story of naruto is showing how previous generations simply arent as good, itachi is younger than the 3 sannin, and is definitely better, the 3 sannin are great n' all, but quite frankly akatsuki levelled shinobi can wipe the floor with them.

Even orochimaru who usually acts superior was scared shitless of akatsuki even when he KNEW they only move in 2's

Meaning orochimaru didnt like the idea of facing off against 2 of them.

Also, when he knew hed be meeting up with 1 of them (sasori) he still took kabuto along to fight with him, meaning orochimaru was (and is considered by many) the weakest of the akatsuki.


I also dont see how jiraiya would have won against pain if he knew pains secret, so what if he found nagatos body?

Fighting nagato while 6 bodies that dont die are after you would be impossible.
