VLC player is by far the simplest and most rich with futures player out there, Download it and make it your default player for all video formats and you'll never face a similar problem ever again.

Exactly and if you happen to get a Greenscreen when playing MKV Files, it's because those are Hi10-encoded files. You could either get the VLC Version 1.30 or just use Windows Media Player Classic. I'd suggest you get the VLC.

oh god. I tried to watch FFVII AC like that and my computer couldn't keep up the bandwidth. xd Probably the hard disk.

I had to resize it and then watch it. If this is your problem, try Aura video converter. It does the job... slowly. I hate HD.
