I believe Oro and Danzo are way more closer than everyone thinks. It was Orochimaru who did the experiments on him, they both wanted to destroy Konoha for own personal greed and to get rid of the third's ninja ways

Donzo didnt want to destroy konoha
he wanted to protect it but his methods were wrong xD

oro was loyal to the leaf before his defection. maybe danzo promised to help him develop immortality jutsu while oro gave danzo sharingans. raikage insinuated the two planned to crush the leaf together. i dont see anything wrong with it. he was obviously nobodys bitch after leaving akatsuki.

yeah, except Orochimaru was in root before the whole Uchiha massacre, so he couldn't have possibly promised Danzo sharingans...

Danzo was never after the idea of crushing the Leaf, he wanted to unite all the nations and be the leader of that new alliance.

He was trained under the 3rd hokage, smartass... After his battle with Hanzo, I thought he would have deflected, and before it I thought he was a Sensei or something... Definitelly could never picture him working as a Root recruit, answearing to Danzo rather than his former sensei... That's my point.

Ok, who else is utterly dissapointed in this? oO I mean, I was expecting them to be working together on equal terms, not Oro to be Danzo's Root recruit... I'm very dissapointed in Oro, seriusly... Who else agrees with me?

Well as you can see in the manga Danzo and Hiruzen were both of same age and Hiruzen was mentor to Oro so i think if oro was working under Danzo then its fine

raikage suggested that danzo, suna and akatsuki, more specifically oro, were in alliance to destroy the leaf (with danzo taking over in the ashes). danzos other goal was gaining control of the nine tails.

except Orochimaru was in root before the whole Uchiha massacre, so he couldn't have possibly promised Danzo sharingans...

danzo could get sharingans whenever he wants. doesnt need a massacre to get them
