Pre-crisis superman could sneeze and knock planets around, he could pull planets with his bare hands, he could travel multiple times faster than the speed of light, he could fly through the sun and survive, he could survive a supernova.

There is no comparison, Goku even in his strongest state is nothing more than a naruto character before the eyes of Pre-Crisis superman.

Superman was so strong that the writers had a hard time creating villains for him to fight, so they greatly decreased his powers, and the result of that is the current superman you see today in the Justice League.

I've argued this fight countless times but this right here: well said.

im not a goku fanboy or a superman fanboy and ive done my research on both that inculdes pre and post crisis superman but back on topic heres what would happen goku punches precrisius superman but superman doesnt bund superman says: is that all you got goku just laughs and says huh guess ill have to go super saiyan and bang hes supersaiyan he punches superman now and nockes him back a little superman: well i wasnt expecting that. sups flys at goku and punches hmm into a biulding goku just gets up and gets into fighting position superman charges at him and starts beating the shit out of him for a couple minutes until gokus had enough and goes super saiyan 2 superman and goku start going at it creating shock waves ever time they hit eachother its continues like this until goku notices he isnt getting any where so he desides to end itby going super siayan 4, sups notices this and decides to stop taking it easy on him at full power they clash causing the very planet it self to shake that is until goku starts to tire sups then punches goku into the ground creating a huge crater goku gets up panting and says : ok you win i give up. superman just looks at him with a stern look then smiles which soon turns into a laugh goku laughs along with superman sups say : that was a good fight goku: yea it was lets do thing agian sometimes sups:says maybe we should spar on a different planet next time looking at the destruction caused by their fight goku: yea ahahaha well ill be going see ya

The only part I disagree with is SSJ4 because he lost his tail at the end of GT. I could Agree to that fight tho. Neither would really be interested in killing the other Goku's stamina altho massive is not unlimited like supermans. I could see Goku tiring out and Superman agreeing to end the fight.
