Goku is the God of Anime!?

I wrote this in another thread, but who else believes Goku is just the God of anime. I feel that he should not be compared to anyone in terms of strength and power with the rest of the anime.

He is just too strong. He is freakin Goku for christ sake. Goku could blow up the universe if he wanted to.

Goku is God of the Anime world. All that oppose him and his ways will be punished by the Dragon Fist explosion. :scorps:

Story wise I feel the same. The plot is far better in Naruto than DBZ but Goku is legend. He is someone I wanted to be when I grow up. :scorps:

Thats because the only other option in the poll is "no he sucks", and everyone knows Goku doesn't suck but he isn't the best Anime character. There are GODS in Anime. Omnipotent (All powerful), Omnipresent (Anywhere and everywhere at once) and Omniscient (All knowing).

He's no God but I see DBZ more as the Founder of Anime.

Without Goku and DBZ, Anime wouldn't have clicked that big way in the West. He influenced the manga/anime generation so much that it paved the way for all other Animes. Without DBZ, Naruto, OP, Bleach ect... would all have been more a Japan-exclusive craze; considerably less a worldwide trend. In that way, I see DBZ as the Founder who helped all the others established themselves.

In terms of power, he's one of the Strongest Ever and character-wise, he's one the Most Heroic Main Character.​

Astro Boy, Akira ect... were here first but they didn't found anything. They were originators but the true founder is the one who expanded the culture throughout and that title goes rightfully to DBZ in my eyes.
