I'm taking my Nagato test. o_o

I don't quite think you get the point here. It's all well and good that they are just the best RPers in existence, and nobody in this thread will ever hope to achieve the STUNNING amount that they have, but it doesn't constitute being able to get past the rules. >_> That isn't what the thread was about, and it's been turned into, "lol they're better than you will ever be, so it's k." It's unfair that friends of higher ups are able to get permission, whereas others aren't. There isn't much of a civil-service system on NB, is the real point of the thread.

Then please explain the point in saying they shouldnt have these abilities it adds fun and depth to the rp for people already way beyond average with or without there "OP" abilities, So in essence this just seems like a pointless complaint about a problem that is nonexistent fact is they are some of the best rpers and have done the most for the site and if they want to have OP stuff then why not...Either way there going to be very good rpers.

Also on a side note i did add something constructive by pointing out that its not the abilities its how there used if it gets taken badly then frankly i dont care simply because my point is still valid.

I'm going to roleplay no matter what the rules state. I made it a goal of mine to become a Taijutsu Master and get the Eight Gates... So I'm going to do that. But it was just the fact that the rules are changing and making everyone who is up and coming weaker. So now what's going to happen when I'm finally Sage Rank with everything mastered and EIG? I'm going to fight these OP'd people and sure, I could be on there level or higher with Skill and RP Experience, but their abilities themselves can do things that RP Skill and Experience just can't make up for.

I always find roleplay fun and I always will, it's just things like this that favor a certain group of people really do tend to annoy me because it almost seems discouraging as if saying "You can get to my rank, but you'll never be at my level"

And there's nothing wrong with someone who is responsible keeping their abilities, but shouldn't that privilege then extend to newer people who have joined? The Mods have just assumed that new people will abuse it and can't have it, so where's the fairness in that exactly? That's like saying... "Since he RP's responsibly, we'll give him Mokuton, EIG, SM, MS, Rinnegan, FTG and any other ability he wants because we know he won't misuse it."

The whole point for me is the fact they have it there in their arsenal for use, capable of doing things no one else can, and simply because they joined first? That's just favoritism and letting them follow a different set of rules.

I do agree, though what I am trying to say is that even if we cannot change it or it will not be changed we shouldn't give up because there are people stronger than us. It should be fun either way, and of course it is a shame that there are rules like that (who wouldn't like that kind of power :3), but I suppose we will just have to deal with it.

One side note though, one doesn't get things auto, one has to train for it and due to that 'earn' it imho.

Yeah but their reasons are still flawed. "He worked hard for it, so he can keep it." This basically means, no matter how hard you work, you won't get it... So what's the point in working hard? It's like demotivating someone...

And it's favoritism because they're favoring older members over newer members with the way the rules are implemented. I personally believe that everyone should follow the same set of rules; This means guidelines, restrictions, limitations and anything else that goes with it... Only this way will it truly ever be fair.


And they soooo totally saw us all joining in 2012 and were like... "Since the world is ending in 2012, we're going to Trololol all the NB Noobs that join our RP!" xD!

I don't understand why you would just allow someone who has done something for the site to be allowed to break the rules and become vastly more powerful then anybody can ever hope to be.

Omg yes, the world is ending as well, now we have two reasons to create a time machine! Let's go!!~

But nothing can take away the fact that we simply cannot do anything about it now, all we can do is work hard to get everything we want and can and then pass down our knowledge and/or just enjoy the rp. ^_^

Besides We can't all expect to be great rpers if all we do is constantly fight and argue over every little wrong thing. If Nexus gives permisiion for anything Rp related well then let him do so he's the only admin praticaly in charge of the whole rp which is a lot of work he can commit mistakes cause he's human. Instead of arguing about whats wrong with Rp system why don't you just enjoy the current system its there for fun. I believe that even if you are weak or strong good or bad as long as you have fun thats what counts so come on ppl be happy ^^

Let me try and put it in an easier way for everyone to understand... Let's say I pass my Nagato test, my Minato test and my Itachi test. Does this then suddenly mean that I can have all of these abilities on the 1 biography even though I'm skilled enough to use them? The answer is obviously a No because this is definitely OP.

So it's not the fact that people may or may not be skilled enough to use the techniques, the problem is that people have abilities on biographies that make them OP, obviously no one will ever be as OP as my example Bio above... But they'll be OP nonetheless and put them at a level that no one else can reach.

I'm relatively certain that Xanthe isn't trying to get rid of the ability of members to have power in all forms and eliminate OPness. From what I've seen, what he's trying to achieve is the creation of a system by which power can be obtained by all people in a fair manner - one which does not allow the distribution of power to a specific group based entirely on their relationship with the distributor. I wont argue with you on whether or not "gracing" the site with one's presence is contributing to it. I'm merely helping you to stop misconstruing Xanthe's ideals.

I really don't think that's the point here, and you keep bringing it up. If someone answers "Yes" then you get to get angry about them being cocky, and if someone answers "No" then you get to say, "MY POINT STANDS." I don't think you understand the point of RP rules. ._.

WHO you aren't shouldn't at all justify WHAT you get or WHAT you have. Same as the date WHEN you joined the forum shouldn't instantly mean you're allowed certain things and disallowed others.

The whole point is that people are getting away with things that are no longer possible, which means they're following a different set of rules that makes them stronger than they should be.
