Nagato can fight alongside his paths of pain and Gedo Mazo obviously and his state is when he/Kabuto fought Naruto,Bee and Itachi but not a edo.

Itachi has all his original techniques Susanoo with Yata and Totsuka,Amateseru,Tsyukami,Izanami*,Crow Clones.His state his Edo healthy but not a edo.

Minato has Rassengan,FTG,Toad summons,Death reaper seal and im giving him sage mode as well even though he probably doesn't have it.


Location:The forest where only Shikamarus clan may go
Mindset:All are calm
Conditions:Minato has 3 tags around the forest one on the outside,one at his house and one on Itachi(for support)

*noone truly knows what it does so no izanami easy he can change Nagato fate and kill him

Thread Makers opinion:Nagato is clearly much stronger then both ninjutsu wise although power doesnt necessarily win a fight nagatos techniques coupled with intelligence in battle strategy(as seen in the attack of konoha and leading the akatsaki)will give him a victory.Nagato as a edo crippled zombie beat KM naruto and Bee i believe that uncontrolled with Gedo and Paths he will win.

Anyway, you're aware that a healthy Nagato does not have his paths as assistance? Actually healthy Nagato means Nagato when Yahiko died, before he used Gedo Mazo - or, to be fair, Nagato as he was as Edo Tensei, without being immortal. Just that he could potentially have paths as support does not mean that he has. In that case we could also give Koto Amatsukami to Itachi, and with that the winner would be obvious.

If it's just Nagato they could win but I'm not sure how they're getting out of Chibabki Tensei. They haven't shown anything to be able to destroy it.

well lets think about it. nagato easily took out naruto and bee who together would beat minato. only the combined battle strength of naruto, itachi and bee were enough to overwhelm nagato. since minato is just naruto with less rasengan variants, no kage bunshins, superior speed ,space-time ninjutsu and better intelligence. minato is a similar replacement for naruto. nagato would beat this duo.

Chibaku Tensei - Destroying it with Amaterasu or removing it with a Jikukan barrier.

Gedo Mazo - Amaterasu to defeat/hurt it and avoiding/blocking the soul dragon by simply doding, using Shunshin no Jutsu, Yata no Kagami or Hiraishin no Jutsu. Not to mention that Nagato is in a fishbowl while and after using Gedo Mazo's soul dragon.

Cho Shinra Tensei - ..using Susanoo. Lots of Konoha-Shinobi survived it by merely hiding inside Katsuyu, without Katsuyu healing them. Tsunade's Anbu even survived without any protection.

Itachi and Minato could wipe him out in one move as well, by using Totsuka no Tusurugi, Tsukuyomi or Shiki Fujin - I'm not mentioning Izanami, since we don't know its effects. This one obviously goes to Itachi and Minato, there's no need to debate, thus this will be my last adding something to the debate.

How is Nagato able to fight alongside with his Paths?

Minato and Itachi, mid-high difficulty imo.

first of all, both are smarter. they're two of the top in battle intelligence, and while nagato is no chump himself, he's been outdone a few times by naruto and jiraiya, whereas you never see that happening with itachi and minato (only one i can think of really is when sasuke set kirin up)

secondly, minato has two counters for chibaku tensei: 1. teleporting to minato and teleporting back to a safe spot. and 2, the space-time barrier, he can use it on the rocks which would fall on top of him and crush him, or on the ball.

thirdly, minato can easily set up a mark on nagato. and while i agree that ftg+rasengan may not be enough to defeat him, you also don't ignore a sudden rasengan, it can give itachi a good opening. or itachi can give minato an opening. don't forget, it's two to one.

tsukuyomi and amaterasu, while not proving fatal will rough up nagato a lot. I don't think Minato and Itachi have much valid counters for shinra tensei, but they will survive the first couple imo and will exploit the 5 second limit after that.

Chibaku tensei would not be detroyed by Amateseru reason being its made out of rocks when Amateseru burned vs Sasuke on those rocks they didn't disintegrate

That shinra tensei was blocked because of tsuande healing everyone and the people who survived were on the edges/If it was just Minato and Itachi they would probably die Susanoo would be pushed by back a lot look at what kirin did to it and saying it was a level 1 susanoo is not going to cut it because his reaction time to this attack would probably be the same

I put the two most hyped up characters vs Nagato for a reason and it just shows how some people think
