Jiraya can spit oil that neutralizes sand as shown by the Second Mizukage and can summon large toads which can spit even more oil.

Gaara can seal opponents by surrounding them with sand and placing tag.

Gaara's special sand is fast enough to block Amaterasu.

Jiraiya can use Swamp of the Underworld to turn portions of the battlefield to swamp.

Jiraiya can use Barrier Canopy Method formation that will give him the ability to detect any movement around him over a large radius.

Jiraiya can summon toads, who according to databook, can use many sound based genjutsu.

I think Jiraiya will win this one because he can neutralize the sand, use swamp of the underworld, summon toads to help him in battle and he can use his other techs. I think Jiraiya has this in the bag with medium diff.

Hmmm. I think Garra could win this. But Jiraiya would probably win more often than not. With his oil and the toads Garra would be hard pressed to get Jiraiya.

Gaara would lose, jiraiya is way to skilled for gaara, jiraiya's summons can easily deal with gaara before he enters sage mode, imo I think that jiraiya doesn't even need sage mode to win this fight, with sage mode or not jiraiya would win mid or low difficulty

Jiraiya is way more skilled and expierienced!! We have never seen Jiraiya go all out with an intent to kill... And if you add rasengan, toad summons, ma and pa. I think that Jiraiya is too underrated, I mean almost took out pein with no knowledge of them what so ever. JIRAIYA WOULD WIN MID DIFFICULTY!
