Danzo and Orochimaru

Okay i don`t know why but i just thought of this.. if orochimaru and danzo had contact and orochimaru gave danzo his arm and woodstyle, why didn`t he take those sharingan himself? seeing how obsessed he was with the sharingan:shrug:
I know it`s a little late to think of that but still..

He most likely wanted to see how Danzo would handle them plus he wanted to take the body of a pure blood Uchiha. Through later hints it seems his ultimate goal was the rinnegan which would've been tough without being in a true Uchiha's body.

Danzo was more of an 'experiment'.
Depending on how successful Danzo's sharingan transplants and Senju DNA was, Orochimaru would have been able to ensure his own transplants would be a success.

Besides, without an Uchiha body, the true capabilities of the Sharingan would be significantly harder, if not impossible, to unlock.
